Post Official Delta Representatives for 2015-2019

We will start by having nominations. Afterwards there will be an anonymous multiple-choice poll for voting. You may not nominate yourself, and other quadras don't get to nominate. (Go have your own elections.) I'm going to pretend only Deltas will vote in the poll.

    You may nominate one each:
    LSE Representative:
    EII Representative:
    IEE Representative:
    SLI Representative:

Re-nominating someone will be pointless. Nominations will be open until Wednesday.
Whoever wins the most votes overall will be the Official Delta Representative. Therefore, whoever gets the second-most votes for the official Delta representative's sociotype will be the official representative for that type.
You may nominate anyone who is likely to be Delta, has posted at least once in 2014, and has at least 250 total posts.

    I'll start with my nominations.
    LSE: @Joy
    EII: @Minde
    IEE: @applejacks
    SLI: @Pa3s

For Deltas! So if someone says "take me to your leader," we know who to send them to. Or just so you can have a fancy title to give you more authority on a discussion.

Which Wednesday? Do the members have to be current and/or regular posters? Are there limits on campaign spending?

I've been hanging out in the permanent Delta Hangout on Google instead of any of the tinychats. Anyone who wants the link can PM me for it.

I got excited when you said Google Hangouts because I use them relatively often for career stuff, but then I realized my anonymity would be completely shot. I'll PM you anyway.

November 26th, the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Nominations only last a week; voting will last well into December.

Those nominated must have made at least one post in 2014 and have least 500 total posts to show they are active. You can nominate people whose type is in question, but know that will be a serious disadvantage when voting for someone to represent a type.

There is no limit to campaign spending.

Nah, more like nominating a non-citizen. Felons can be okay if the citizens decide so. Many of the politicians should be in jail anyways.

UDP marks this post as constructive
Posts I wrote in the past contain less nuance.
If you're in this forum to learn something, be careful. Lots of misplaced toxicity.

I'm not too keen on this thread, either.

    -----

And I can't imagine an IEE that would be willing to don the responsibilities and pressure of even just the title.
And I have difficulty imagining an IEE being happy with having everyone compared to them to see if the other person is iee or not, or iee enough, because there's way more to a person's personality than their sociotype.

And since when does delta need some kind of officialness or authority figure or representative figure? We've already got a couple of people claiming deltahood and the position of delta representative, attacking other deltans to push them out for not being just like them in nonsocionics ways. That hasn't gone well. Why encourage such behavior further with something like this?

I took it at tongue in cheek humor, but i've got the tendency to smile and be happy at anything DA posts, even though everyone knows LSE's don't have humor! ^^

No; betas are aristocrats too. There's no anarchy; just aristocracy and democracy.

Personally, I don't see how this is different from the superlatives.

Maybe we could have an official anarchy if everyone who wins abdicates.

    @applejacks , very nice link

Lol. Evidently I'm for the Green Party. I had a moment of curiosity with all this election talk.

If anyone else is interested: http://www.isidewith.com/political-quiz#more
That was an interesting link. Thanks for sharing it.

I'm Libertarian, though I don't have the focus to test about it right now to verify.

As far as the topic, honestly, the whole thing seems a bit unnecessary to me as well. If someone has Delta-related questions I presume they're just going ask a Delta they've seen around and have some respect for.

Is Libertarian the only one we all have over 50% in? Let's be libertarians together!

Where in the world do these 3% come from?
