    Hello
I recently learned socionics. I'm ESTJ in MBTI and the j and p doesn't switch if I'm an extravert.
English is not my mother tongue, so please excuse mistakes.

Theories are interesting for me, as well as duality is not a part of MBTI.

intertype relations can be enlightening or lead to a endless process of typing and retyping. Do you really want to reduce people to three letter acronyms? If yes, then again, welcome

(also, good to have another delta, the beta's are breeding too fast to keep in check and we need every normal sane person we can find here!)

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

MBTI cannot be translated to socionics. MBTI thinks I am an introvert. MBTI is incompetent.

So you need to know your type independent of MBTI. What is your native language? Have you read Jung?

Yeah this forum does bring out a side to me that doesn't exist in real life and people who know me there are surprised and people who can easily intuite who i really am like Eliza Thomason know the truth. I'll try to be more like i am irl.

To be fair, this place really isn't the most constructive or positivistic place to be. I LIKE it well enough, but I think there's better uses of time...it's just that I don't want to.

So yeah, it's like a toilet, you go there because you must and sometimes you spend quiet time there to avoid pesky people IRL ^^

If anything, it's much too quiet around here. I came from TypeC. I'm tempbanned from there for incessant shitposting.

Sheez, to think a simple joke could cause such a derail.

lolol everything can cause a derail here ^^

I've been welcoming people with analogies to swamps and dante's inferno and never gotten into a derail argument about it yet, so grads, you've succesfully beaten me in the joking welcomes catagory ;-)

Don't do anything to get banned here or you'll be forced to join the WSS or Podlair to get your dayly typology fun fix.

Welcome! I'm almost certainly LSE, but I'm ENTP in MBTT. Theoretically the two should match up, but realistically they don't always.

I'm not certain what type I am, my typing thread is for absolute clarification.

I guessed ESFp because Se makes one fidgety, more prone to anger bursts, reactive, while Fi makes one in theory immune to unwritten social rules and hierarchies.
But it's not official, and I'll wait for others' opinions.
