I'm not sure about the artist's stack.. Many things seem sp/so ...though there's a special sense of mysterious fragility in her art (probably a cultural imprint...). These images fit the thread best - a person who is all alone while animating and personalizing a whole space via objects. I have the impression any more subjective dimension of the person is concealed behind that space they build.

Open-air sort of imagery rubs me the wrong way. Who would want to identify with most of this shit.

I would. SX is highly overrated.

I suppose suede wanted to convey the idea that sexuality is depersonalized somehow (instead of internalized and deeply felt) ... unless he says otherwise. But it just doesn't work, it's too much of an extreme caricature ...I cannot see such a video as "representative" of the sp/so stack.

IF anything that video seems more sp/sx to me... like penchant for the weird/ugly.

idk if i'm truly sp/so, but I dont depersonalize sexuality, so if i am sp/so, the above concept is a gross misconception.

Exactly. It's just prosaic, Sp-first sensory stuff with no passion behind it. Sex is treated as just an exchange of fluids, or a means of achieving physical pleasure/homeostasis.

does sp/so really view sex that way? because i definitely dont.

I also didn't see anything particularly sp about it. sp =/= sensory

My gestalt for that video is some sort of contra-flow with sx first or second, either sp/sx or sx/so. "trying too hard at it"...whatever that is supposed to mean...that has nothing to do with the stackings. From what i've come to know about sp/so, sp/so doesn't sexualize stuff. This guy is doing the polar opposite, sexualizing everything.

It's probably one way that an Sx-last could view it. It's said that Sex for Sp is often about the sensory aspect, warmth, closeness, release, body-to-body, etc., while sex for Sx is about intense merging and emotional charge. So with a blind spot towards the latter, you could potentially have someone who has a cruder, detached attitude towards sex. Sp/Sx could probably have a similar attitude towards sex, every now and then, but this video doesn't seem to vibe like something they'd do. It's light and kind of...immediately accessible. Contrived weirdness. Like a fart joke.

I was gonna say... b/c to be associated with that video was an extemely insulting thought.

p.s. so/sx is syn flow. and the vid does not seem consistent with my understanding of so/sx.

The humor seems contra-flow indeed, but it totally contradicts the essence of Sx first - where is the instinct of attraction/implacable pull or merging in that video? is there any form of intensity? It's a complete mockery which can be tolerable as such ..but having it associated with a stack seems insulting. I don't even find it particularly funny and I'd rather watch porn instead ..at least that's about raw physicality. I mean, yes, Jim Morrison (a SLE E7 sx/so) was kind of nuts and didn't have many barriers. He did incite crowds and probably did expose himself in full concert to escalate "the feeling of trance" ...but that's totally different from what happens in that video and from the implicit attitude towards sexuality.

Sure, just wanted to tell my opinion since you seem to be looking for your stack

Tbh, I have absolutely no idea how exactly sp/so experiences sex and I've never been in a relationship with any sp/so. The best thing I can think of is that sp/so people have a strong caregiver way of romantic involvement - a warm, caring, non-aggressive, paternal/maternal feeling. They put a lot of emphasis on physical comfort and needs of partner. In comparison to some other stackings of course, every sex is about merging and excitement after all : ). The phrase that I read somewhere and it sticked with me once was "apple pie with a slice of naughty"

It's difficult for me to imagine sp/so being emotionally detached in any case.

    It's not sp/so. Period. Doesn't reflect anything remotely sp/so.

The act in the video is intended as humor and mockery (as you said), and it's obvs not sp/so humor because so far the sp/so ppl here have not been amused. Whereas sx/so and sp/sx people have found humor in it.

the fact that 2 supposed sx/so ppl allegedly found the video funny is not enough of an argument for associating it with the whole sx/so profile.
there's no way that dumb vulgar video has any place in my stack. it's probably just a matter of personal taste ... starfall's exes and suedehead should meet and throw an orgy in the same vein.
