What questionnaire?
There is a standard questionnaire that a lot of new members answer. I actually don't know where you can find it other than on other new members' posts. It's by no means required though. It's just there if you want to use it.Originally Posted by starhand

If you want to know more about the functions, the theory, or whatever then the articles on this website are definitely a good start. There are a number of websites you could probably find through a quick couple google searches. If I were you I'd start with type descriptions, which can also be found on the articles section of this site.

I can't find the questionnaire, I'd did the the test with 34 questions, it got me completely wrong, infj. And assumed I was a woman when I entered male in the required field?

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It was other people, Word and truck that suggested I get typed as they don't think I'm INFP. I don't give a monkeys about being typed. In fact I'm starting to find all of this a little tiresome. I've been told I'm INFP by a counselor/psychologist that's good enough for me!

Opening a typing thread implies getting external points of view about your type... You can get a lot of surprises
MBTI goes with letter preferences. The most enlightened MBTI specialists can dive into 4 functions.
Socionics goes with functions only, there are 8 of them, 4 conscious and 4 unconscious.
Main dichotomies are extraversion/introversion, intuition/sensation, logics/ethics, rational/irrational, but they are conditioned by your functions preferences.
And I am terribly simplifying, to be honest.
So you can be X in MBTI and Y in socionics.
Your way of reacting and your steady presence in pictures make me think of SLI.
Seems like I am not alone in my typing hunches.

But this site has an addictive quality, will make you even less likely to leave the home, and when you DO leave the home you'll be looking at people like three letter abreviations while forgetting their names. Also, you'll be retyped and retyped over and over untill you're unsure of your core identity so you'll turn to enneagrams and slowly slide off into the madness of esoteric systems.

Lol I thought all these small ti's and fi's were std's or some form of ego inflating mini words that somehow gives the user power and knowledge. The only knowledge really required is that of love, nothing else matters! Eieio! I'm not so stupid as to go round and round on this site forever. There are some nice people here who make it worthwhile for the time being.

You are not INFp or IEI (intuitive ethical introtim) as it would be INFJ in MBTI and would mean that you are a Ni/Se user.
Ni= introverted intuition, Se= extraverted sensing.
BUT you are obviously a Ne/Si user, means extraverted intuition and introverted sensing.
We just need to figure out in which order.
Also Delta quadra over Alpha (read about quadras).
Deltas value Ne, Fi, Te, Si.
So NeFiTeSi = ENFp (IEE)
FiNeSiTe= INFj (EII)
SiTeFiNe=ISTp (SLI)
TeSiNeFi=ESTj (LSE).
Try to understand before fighting...

I dont think your assessment of me is correct.
The typings will be various and no one here knows a lot about you, and you don't know much about socionics, so you probably won't agree with anyone who doesn't say INFp.
I suppose it's because I realise I come across differently online. I seem to have gotten into a spiral of arguing about this, which is not where I intended to go. Shame!
Anyway, once again, thak you all for your typings. I'll sack my shrink now lol
