    Default Quadra by Geographical Location.

In your experience, what states/ areas of the US do Betas congregate? Perticularly, SLEs? Do Betas even congregate, or are we all loners?

...Maybe this should be under Meet-ups. lol

I took your post to mean the geographical location as in the whole world, and not states in the U.S. My bad.

As in, the inmates are Beta, or Betas run them? Either one is interesting. I assume you mean the first, in which case my premonitions of ending up in some sort of penitentiary (and simultanious fear of being locked up) will most likely come true...

The top inmates are basically the top dogs and run the show.

Interesting. Ive never actually been to Portland, but I guess the vibes I get could be Beta-ish. Actually, my great EIE friend moved there several years back with her (I believe) SLI husband. They are thriving there; love the culture, people, etc. Now I really have to get there. I desperately want to meet some of my own kind, doing the things they love to do.

As for hipsters... not sure if Beta. Maybe some of them are - but yeah, like you said, I think the trendy ones will be SEIs, and the hippyer ones will be Delta NFs...

I've met SLE's at every job i've ever had.

Jobs, Gyms, and Bars. Thats where you should go.
Projection is ordinary. Person A projects at person B, hoping tovalidate something about person A by the response of person B. However, person B, not wanting to be an obejct of someone elses ego and guarding against existential terror constructs a personality which protects his ego and maintain a certain sense of a robust and real self that is different and separate from person A. Sadly, this robust and real self, cut off by defenses of character from the rest of the world, is quite vulnerable and fragile given that it is imaginary and propped up through external feed back. Person B is dimly aware of this and defends against it all the more, even desperately projecting his anxieties back onto person A, with the hope of shoring up his ego with salubrious validation. All of this happens without A or B acknowledging it, of course. Because to face up to it consciously is shocking, in that this is all anybody is doing or can do and it seems absurd when you realize how pathetic it is.

Betas are everywhere. It's not really a matter moving somewhere else, it's more a matter of exposing yourself to different social situations, then you'll find them.

Over here, SLEs are pretty entrenched in mainstream kind of stuff. Drinking in bars, playing and watching sport, dancing and hitting on people in night clubs and going to music festivals (dance music and hard rock/metal rather than acoustic/folk/indie stuff).

Less into artsy shit generally, more 'normal' interests.

Thanks. And yeah, I recently started working at a restaurant - and I'm noticing a Beta atmosphere... perhaps. At least a larger saturation of us than in other places I've worked.

Yes. I read somewhere that our economy and government in the US today is defined by Deltas ...whereas totalitarian regimes are generally run, quite well, by Betas.

Well I'm not from the US but it's funny that you don't seem to meet a lot of SLE's. I ran into a bunch of them every time I go out and they are usually really hard to miss. Go to any night club and it will be packed with them. Also bars (especially popular costly ones or more rowdy ones), sports events, fitnesses, casinos lol....everything that is mainstream usually.

Or, if you still have problems, get "lost" in the sketchy part of town or hit up a local dealer (jk, jk).
