Default Normal people do not have types...

I was at the grocery store today, and I concluded that most people seem to have no socionic type at all, or they seem to be Ixxj women, sort of like Lungs and Marista.

But really, nothing jumps out at me with these women...

Yes, I too tend to make over-generalizations about random people whom I've never spoken to in my life. Brilliantly insightful, sir -- truly.

Normally people just do everyday things.

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

Next time, I will bring my cat to the grocery store. Then I will make all kinds of friends!

I'm also incapable of typing complete strangers that I have never spoken to.

People do not really show their sociotype in the street due to social cues. I wondered about this; I used to think that the majority of the world were of ESFp type, and minority IN*p...

Whenever I leave my house I have a feeling like I walked into an ESxx zone. When on the internetz I'm in INxx zone.
Logical reminder to myself: Leave the house and meet your dual, dum-dum.

Also: I love how irl there seems to be much more SLE's than IEI's. Less competition. It sucks for those types whose duals are one in a hundred and they're all in their houses .

SLE crime rate of burglaries/breaking and entering = dual seeking?

What do you mean by this William? Don't really understand Cause I also know quite a few SEE's - they don't seem like a rare type to me. Much more common than IEI's in my opinion, but maybe I'm just delusional.

But I really love love love SEE's so I don't really have a problem with them

Edit: Forget about it, I get what you meant

I agree, I wouldn't say they're a rare type either, but I believe 20%, or 1 of every 5 people, is too high. (Remember 1 in 16 averages to be about 6.25% of people)
20% No no no, not that common. Society would be much more fun if that would be the case Idk if it's just me, but I see LSE's and ESE's everywhere and I'm very unhappy about the first ones.

Yes, unfortunately the criminal justice system may not see eye to eye with you on that and the judge might serve you a subpoena...hopefully not a small one of course.

Just come to Michigan. I'll introduce you to one of every single type, both male and female. By the way, if anybody here is looking for an SLE, I can help you find one; I'm an expert at spotting them.

That's because it's mostly ESIs and EIIs who go grocery shopping, duh.

... If you did your own grocery shopping I am sure you would say the number of men in groceries
easily outweighs the number of women. Or maybe this is just my preferred super market.

Either way, when you say "some non-women" you make grocery shopping seem sexist and
like an unmasculine activity. I am sure this was not your intention as buying food is a need and
not a "women's activity", I repeat, it is an animal necessity to consume sustenance.

Maybe you were just trying to poke fun at Saber but your wording was very odd and the intent
of your word choice is naturally not clear on the internet. That being said, if you are not in the
mind-set that picking out food is a "women's activity" you can disregard this. If you are, please
reevaluate your thought process in how you came to reach that conclusion.

I was joking about the logic: since I believe everybody HAS a socionics type, then the 1st part of Saberstorm's conclusion is false, and since he used the combining word "OR", then the 2nd part of the statement MUST be true: most people seem to be Ixxj women. I found it funny that he made the conclusion that MOST people are women, and specifically Ixxj women (when really there are many guys out there, as you pointed out).

Anyway. Yes, joking about the wording of statements on the internet leads to even more confusion.
Sir William, I love how you pick up on some of the hidden and obvious meanings in some of my posts! I pick up on yours too.

Shouldn't the averagemost person have no salient personality traits and intellectual abilities or disabilities?

For srs I think it makes more sense to consider that there's a middle ground between types where the only salient trait is lack of salient traits. For example, a strong intuiter and a strong sensor have a middle "neither" type. Continuums over dichotomous types...
