    Default Jonathan Cake

What type is this actor? He used to play a cop in The Desperate Housewives (and probably some other more noteworthy roles, too, but unfortunately I haven't seen him elsewhere ).

    Jonathan Cake:

Is he SLI? I find him ridiculously hot (and I've seen his wife Julianne Nicholson typed as ILE somewhere)

hmm... I don't know Russian and I think this might also affect my perception, but...
when I compare Vladimir Vysotsky in some videos I've found, i.e. these:

and Jonathan Cake in the above videos (I'll put some below again just for keeping things together in one post), so i.e.:

I think both of those guys are Delta STs, but while Vladimir Vysotsky is SLI, I think Jonathan Cake is more facially expressive and I'm inclined to go with LSE-Si>SLI for him.
It seems to transpire in those guys' photos too, different kind of energy, not sure this can be assigned to just Enneagram, seems like a different type to me...

    Photos:
    Vladimir Vysotsky
    Jonathan Cake

It's as if Vysotsky's energy was more contained and Cake's energy was more outward going... Vysotsky's expressions are less "finished", Cake's expressions seem to go "all the way", so smile ending sort of halfway compared to a full smile or just more pronounced... Vysotsky's expressions are more "pained" and Cake's more "optimistic" - this sounds not exactly how I mean it, but Idk how else to put it...
...or is Cake one of those more "extroverted seeming" SLIs?

    What do you guys think?

    @Park, @UDP, @Maritsa, @applejacks, @Becca, @Eliza Thomason, @Radio, @Subteigh, @StridingStrider, @Galen, @Geminatronix, @WorkaholicsAnon, @Minde - pretty please, could you help me with figuring this out...?

if he's delta, he's EII. if he's alpha, he's SEI. i don't think any other types are right. too amicable and warm for LSE.

    edit: or LII possibly.

thank you for a fast reply
hmm, so you're saying only introverted types, either Alpha or Delta...
What would be examples of people you base your typing on that "vibe" similarly? Male EII, SEI and LII... If there were videos available that'd be great, I'm curious of the facial mannerisms. I'd like to see what you see.

    Congrats on the 600!

I would have to read more about him to really get a better sense of who he is. I have not memorized all the functions connected to all the types yet...From the one video I could not see myself having any kind of ego clash (SLI = my sister's husband is one) with this person, Appears to be soft spoken, chill and friendly. Didn't activate my polr in any way.

I have no proper thoughts on the matter - I don't know who he is, although I think he has an interesting name. From appearances he reminds me of the comedian Rob Brydon when he is doing his "hurt and self-indulgent" character that he does, although actually watching him, he seems like an entirely different type completely.

I've never seen this person before in my life and I'm not good at VI. My initial impression based on the second movie was LIE, but I don't see a reason he can't be SLI. He doesn't seem LSE...or SEE, or IEI, or ESE, or EIE, or IEE, or LII...want to try process of elimination?

@Director Abbie, I'm open to suggestions - process of elimination sounds interesting

I have a question on this part:
My initial impression based on the second movie was LIE, but I don't see a reason he can't be SLI. He doesn't seem LSE...
LIE is Te-lead, so is LSE and SLI Te-creative - what makes you eliminate LSE, but assume LIE or SLI are plausible - what do they share in common that the LSE doesn't (I thought SLI would have more in common with LSE than with LIE?)

My first impression was a delta ST of some kind (LSE>SLI), but I guess ESE and LIE are also possible in my mind.

Does anyone else see a similarity between him and what's his name... main actor in Braveheart?

@WorkaholicsAnon - yeah I see sth similar, but I think Mel Gibson is a different etype than this guy...? I also saw sth similar in Hugh Jackman's mannerisms in interviews (more so than in Gibson, I guess, I don't know Gibson's etype, but I think Jackman is e7w8?), but Cake seems a bit hmm warmer/softer, can't find the right word.
    I think this guy is either LSE-Si 9w8 sx/so or SLI 9w8 sx/so. I'm leaning towards the former, but I don't know...
I know Park (whom I won't mention tag to spare him the annoyance ) mentioned Schwarzenegger as an example of e9w8 LSE-Si before, but I'd guess he'd be so/sp instinct stacking. Schwarzenegger seems sort of "blank" when I look at him.

(I wouldn't exclude ESE or LIE from the above videos, but it feels like there's too little Fe for ESE and too much Si for LIE... but it's just a "vibe" )

yeah, his wife does look Ti, but I don't know if they're from the same quadra or not...?

could you please link some ESE-Fe pics that you mentioned that VI similarly to him?

ESE LSE are both good for me, but i'm not too sure, guy throws me off in a way. There is something "fishy" about his looks, can't really articulate, I feel like he's representing himself other than he is (yes he is an actor, but also in interviews) and is succeeding (but not quite).

    I know, pretty useless analysis.

maybe it's the role Fe that gives this "fake" impression to you guys? I've seen it in LSEs and LIEs before... hmmm?
