Default What is your father's type?

Pretty sure we must have had a poll like this before, if only because I remember a time when everybody's mother was ESE. I'm going to do separate polls for each parent because then it may give some interesting gender stats and also because your parents might both be the same type!

I am going to make the poll multi-choice in case you can't settle on a type, which may result in a few joke answers.

at the moment, the most common typings are the same as what I have...seems like people's mothers are ESI now rather than ESE.

Adoptive father ILE, biological father INFp.

Now this is a story all about how, my type got changed, turned upside down. Just wait for a minute and watch chatbox right there, & I'll tell how Gem became the moderator with blue hair.

In typology central friended and praised, on the picture thread was where she spent most her days. Chilling out, selfies, relaxing all cool, And all typing some people and getting them schooled.

When a couple of girls who were up to no good, Started annoying her & her friends in the forumhood, She got in one little flame war & got pissed off & said 'I'm moving in with that exboyfriend in the forum with the socionics toffs.

So Gem pulls up to the forum for a year without being a hater, And yells to typocentral 'Yo creeps! Smell Ya later', Became a mod in her kingdom she was finally there, To sit on her throne as the mod with blue hair.

Father is probably Te dom, always about the what where when who etc. Very dependant on factual information (annoyingly so). He's sensing, with a very visible Si. He really savours thinking about food, holidays etc. He's susceptible to Fe, really getting into anything which is on tv and very noisy about that. Very good with doing things (making stuff, fixing stuff, numbers, etc etc).

He is oblivious to deeper feelings though, doesn't understand the mood, extremely ignorant of subtle social cues. Flies off into action whenever there is a "problem" even when innapproperiate.
Will keep his personal feelings pent up. He's submissive in his relationship. Primarily physical caregiver with providing snacks, drinks etc and enjoys that tremendously.

Don't know his type exactly, i've been thinking LSI lately.

ESI, very difficult to doubt it. Fi and Se in one person gives a very interesting mix. E 8w7. Probably Se-lead.

Sooo LSE. Stereotypical "workholic businessman" variety. Ni-PoLR as fuck, esp when it comes to Fe matters (can't read causality and how an emotional circumstance that affects you someone in the past can change things in the future, etc.) Bad at reading people. Judges people arbitrarily, and seems to think all personality traits are circumstantial (i.e. "This white guy is kinda sleezy- it's b/c he moved to China and China makes Americans sleezier.")

i used to think LSI but his personality has changed since he left the military, he is now a lot more jovial. Thus I don't know anymore. Positive traits: a very positive and optimistic person, very orderly, coscentious and precise. Negative traits: very worried about time, always half an hour early to appointments; not good at managing money in a profitable way (often too optimistic or stereotypical).

    LSE or LSI

    IEI dads don't exist.
Projection is ordinary. Person A projects at person B, hoping tovalidate something about person A by the response of person B. However, person B, not wanting to be an obejct of someone elses ego and guarding against existential terror constructs a personality which protects his ego and maintain a certain sense of a robust and real self that is different and separate from person A. Sadly, this robust and real self, cut off by defenses of character from the rest of the world, is quite vulnerable and fragile given that it is imaginary and propped up through external feed back. Person B is dimly aware of this and defends against it all the more, even desperately projecting his anxieties back onto person A, with the hope of shoring up his ego with salubrious validation. All of this happens without A or B acknowledging it, of course. Because to face up to it consciously is shocking, in that this is all anybody is doing or can do and it seems absurd when you realize how pathetic it is.

Lol, you're not far off actually. He's Slavic with a Russian name . Actually, I'm wondering...maybe he's a Se sub. He can be very harsh and argumentative, but with a playful and hilariously sarcastic side. And he's a martial arts pro. That's probably Se sub right (I know how simplified that sounds, but I'm too tired to educate myself on LSI subtypes )

P.S. It looks like I'm trying to pimp out my dad

I used to think LSI-Se for a long time, but after getting to know some LSIs I think SLE-Ti is a much better fit for him. Also sp first, don't know about E type. Could be one.
