the pic I have with the most natural expression on his face is this one
aurora_faerie: the first pic you posted... That is the typical ISFJ VI model. The 2 males I know that are ISFJ have the exact same eyebrows... Its a definite give away. At first I used to get them mistaken with ESTPs... but once they open their mouths the behaviour patterns are a lot more obvious.

The nose is kinda larger for an ISFJ but whatever. The eyebrows give another impression.

His nose is actually pretty small if you look at a profile view. This is the only one I have, and it doesn't really show the size of his nose in proportion to his face very well.

that is what i was getting at. if there is an inescapable appropriation that is required in the act of understanding, this brings into question the validity of socionics in describing what is real, and hence stubborn contradictions that continue to plague me.

It matters because he's posted like a dozen pics of himself with these facial expressions that he never makes unless he's fucking around. For purposes of VI, those pics are useless... and that's the only reason his expressions are even worth mentioning. I do like the pic of him that you posted (even though it makes me feel like a predator lol). And I like the other ones, too. The first thing I thought when I saw the first thread he posted with all kinds of pictures was "that looks like some one I'd get a huge crush on if I knew him irl"
