Some pictures in this thread might too sx for sp/sx... From what I get, when the sexual instinct is used at the service of self-preservation you get 'invard sexuality', and not so much a sprouting of colours in all directions. It's restrained vibrancy, it's not let loose. Very connected to bodies, sensual. The painter and scultor Jean-Leon Gérome is a good example of sp/sx imagery, with more of an accent on sp. You can sometimes see the so/sp peeking through(contraflow, so -> sp -> sx -> so) = sensuality in the middle of the crowd.

I agree and it is a prime reason why I'm currently doing it. Though for me it's more an issue of converting body fat to lean muscle as I'm already at a healthy weight but my BMI isn't ideal. Though, as "looking good" translates into good/better outcomes in all areas of one's life even "so" primary types ought look into it. "Body Positivity" and its phrase "any size is beautiful" is utter BS. Can be to be honest, but if you're overweight or obese you probably ain't got the figure of an ancient fertility goddess at 250lb+ just sayin' (the ancients knew exactly where to place that excess flab and that's not likely to happen outside of artistic expression and sculpture).
If you're in those circles get out of them folks. Lose weight. Get to looking good, and watch as life switches over to easy mode for you. I will say that no good SEE would ever look at a slob of an ILI with anything but disgust. The tall (or not), dark, and handsome/mysterious "ideal" version on the other hand with those eyes that just captivate them on the other hand...
Though an exception can exist. Y'know, if said slob is at the gym and actually putting in the effort towards losing the weight and looking good and he/she's a consistent part of that scene (i.e. works out 3-5 days a week around abouts the same time for weeks on end) they might catch their eye well before they achieve their peak aesthetics. It'll take about 3 weeks of doing that to make that possible and that's also about how long it takes to fully establish a "habit" as it were. That is, if you've been hitting the gym hard at 5pm every other day for three weeks it's gonna feel bad/outright wrong to not hit the gym and lift every other day at 5pm.
Food for thought and advice for those seeking to make a lifestyle change. Commit to the bit and just do it for three weeks. Once those weeks are over I bet you'd feel wrong not continuing.

Lol. No. I don't agree at all.
It can be "Soc IV" related in the sense of maintaining appearances for first impressions, how people treat you, etc.
It can be "Sx" related in the sense of desiring to be more attractive to your significant other for (emotional/mental) intimacy maintenance reasons (Sp servicing Sx, so Sx/Sp).
Wanting to be attractive is just human at the end of the day though, and people usually have a combination of several reasons for being motivated to do it regardless of IVs. It's not like Sp blind types can never care about how they look and just sit around like couch potatoes, lol. Sx has nothing to do with sex or looking attractive anyway.
