I'm low-key obsessed with this show

    Logan: SLE
    Kendall: EIE, or maybe LIE
Roman: ILE... but I haven't ruled out IEE
Shiv: Idk. I'm not sure what to make of her character
    Greg: LII
    Tom: IEI
    Connor: ESE

I have been meaning to watch this show, I started on the first episode but only got 14 mins in until I got distracted and had to step away.

It seems very Te/Fi though. Very serious.
The Barnum or Forer effect is the tendency for people to judge that general, universally valid statements about personality are actually specific descriptions of their own personalities. A "universally valid" statement is one that is true of everyone—or, more likely, nearly everyone. It is not known why people tend to make such misjudgments, but the effect has been experimentally reproduced.

The psychologist Paul Meehl named this fallacy "the P.T. Barnum effect" because Barnum built his circus and dime museum on the principle of having something for everyone. It is also called "the Forer effect" after its discoverer, the psychologist Bertram R. Forer, who modestly dubbed it "the fallacy of personal validation".

It feels more like a sociopathic Fi-devaluing show to me

    It’s an awesome show.

    Kendall: ILI

my fave line so far in the show- when he says to SEE Roman ‘you’re not real, you’re not a real person’

    Roman: SEE

    Logan: LIE

    Shiv: EIE?

    Tom: A weird LSI?

    Gerri: ESE

    Greg: SEI

    Marcia: ESI

I think the actors are the same types as the characters they play, mostly.

I love how awful and ridiculous they are. I like that the show shows them to be arseholes but you end up pitying them.

It’s also really funny and there are moments of humanity, where the inner child peeps out of the characters.

An IEI’s capacity for sympathetic understanding is awesome, quite frankly.

haha yeahhh. It sometimes feels a bit useless during a pandemic..although I suppose I’ve been writing on here during that time. I appreciate my LIE colleagues giving me clear, articulate reminders of why it’s so important to keep following restrictions. I feel judged (or put to shame) by most sensors for not caring more. LIEs seem to intuitively know that it’s not that I don’t care, I just find it too depressing/ confusing to think about it too much.

Ok well I tried watching it and the tone of the show is a little hard to get. I hate everyone in the show and I had to turn it off because I got too annoyed.

Hits It stride about half way through the first season, imo. It’s like house of cards with some black comedy/office style humor weaved in

    I can’t not see the actor’s types..

Tom is IEEish but then Shiv is EIEish which is weird coz they’re a couple.

maybe shiv is SLE that might make more sense.

    Tom, the likeable asshole
