I don't think he's ESI. He reminds me of my friend's brother, who is also gay, articulate, and exceptionally musically inclined: he has mastered the flute, he speaks fluent French (he actually lived in France for a year), and he is currently applying(?) at several prestigious conservatories. They even have a similar manner of speaking: delicate, warbled, and almost sensual-sounding; self-referential and hopeful, inspiring. I'm thinking IEI.
yeah i feel like IEI is the obvious go-to typing for ocean, so it makes sense why you would think that. if i had enough patience i would dig out images of IEI and ESI and put them side-by-side for comparison, but right now i can't be bothered putting so much effort into my posts anymore...
just so you can (maybe) see what i'm seeing, i've rarely seen IEI have this "look":
IEIs are usually more blank, unfocused, scattered and IME, don't look this... um determined, focused, angry. this is more of a gamma/delta introvert look to me. half of my photos have this exact expression.

because he's obviously supervising her, that's why she's acting so weird

huh, those kinds of look like my facial expressions. I doubt an Fe polr would be an R&B singer (or maybe thats just because i don't like R&B). I also think the top two photos are probably just posed. I think Earl is ESI and I'm not sure about Tyler. Definitely don't think ILE though. Maybe SLE, maybe Alpha SF.

all four quadra types can look "alike" IMO, in certain ways, like they have a common energy or something. but there are subtle visual differences distinct to each type. e.g. EII and SLI tend to look similar on first glance, etc but of course you could argue they are very different types. and i think VI exists independently of how someone poses in their photos, even if it obfuscates their intentions. i wish i knew a lot of rappers/rnb stars to compare how what i'm talking about is not the gangsta face exactly, but a certain dulled serious expression, like when you try to go for a blank face and it just keeps reverting to that half-tense half-worried half-deathglare (i need to learn fractions) face. that to me is very Fi-IJ + E4. in fact if you look up images of different people in the similar sort of business, i think Frank Ocean VIs most closely to Kanye even, and some other gammas, but like 0 IEIs. anyway, 2c.
Tyler looks Ti ego, SLE is possible.
