Default Type Correlations (Hypothetical) by polikujm

Posted by previous member polikujm (INFj).

The descriptions of these states aren't 100% accurate, rather, it's interesting that I can draw a direct correlation that seemingly fits to a significant degree, and what's even more interesting is drawing out comparisons of the philosophies of mental states between different type clumps, ie. Se-IJs are called "ethical" while Ne-IJs are called "moral" (or philosophical) or, ie. Alpha SFs are called "sensational" while Gamma SFs are called "sensual." Beta ST are "technical" while Delta STs are "practical." More observations to make and be made for yourself. Based on the corresponding dichotomies of each state: Determined/intense/introverted focus (level 3) represents the Jungian Introverted function, perceptive/open/extroverted focus (level 2) represents the Jungian Extroverted function, and disengaged/turned-off/introverted focus (level 1) represents neither. Note, the following correlative descriptions shouldn't be based on your test results, but on what you fully read and understand:

    Alpha - Motivational, Sensational, Functional

    Beta - Directorial, Jovial, Technical

    Gamma - Congenial, Factual, Sensual

    Delta - Protectorial, Practical, Passional

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

WHen you die I'll pay a computer programmer to write a 'director abbie bot' code, compiling all your posts into an integrated personality, speaking bible talk and socionics fluently. It can then travel the forum in your place for centuries after you're deceased, socializing.
