hello @sweetgingerpeach, and welcome to the forum. i don't know what the hell all those guys are talking about, ILEs and little white triangles and duality and shit. It's kind of creepy, like they have their own language for talking about which one might have a boner for you, and why.
except for absurd, he has a language that makes sense only to certain people. i can never really make heads or tails of it. it's like he doesn't actually know English as a second language (he is a Polish native, from what I understand), but he can sort of perform these mechanical imitations of the English language like a drunk parrot. there is syntax, and structure, and grammar; but there's rarely any context and occasionally you feel like he's almost speaking past you, like he's got some lesser, hitherto unknown type of coprolalia. it's best if you just put him on ignore now and forget he ever existed.

@Capitalist Pig: I did finish my degree c: I didn't have a specific specialization, but I took mostly developmenalt, social/personality, and abnormal psych. I'm thinking of taking my training to become a birth doula now, which is probably a sterotypical kind of career for an SEI haha
Right on. I wouldn't know about stereotypical careers for SEIs, but if that's what you want to do, then go for it!

@Capitalist Pig: I just heard SEIs are in nursing or other positions where they can care for people and have some social component. I figure coaching women through pregnancya nd labour is basically int hat category haha. And yeah, it's never what I thought I'd see myself doing (I always just wanted to be a mom lol), but I'm really excited about it c:

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have.
