I have a question!
Why do women read so much more than men, all the while preferring male writers?
I would like your thoughts on this.

I don't think it's true!
Although, in the publishing industry if you work in "literary fiction" and they speak of "commercial fiction," "commercial" basically means "women's lit."

There are still more male writers than female, I guess.
Love is like an energy, rushing in, rushing inside of me...
Women also cook more than men, but famous cooks are almost all male.

To at least temporarily escape this patriarchal bitch of reality?

Women read harry potter and twilight and shades of gray and people magazine and shampoo bottles and i read technical manuals and literary fiction.
Because they just organically are wired to be that way.
You could also reverse that, why do men do more math/engineering stuff than women? Probably because there is a natural difference between the sexes that orientates women to literature/books and men to math/hunting/sports and fish.
In tests little boys did better with building things and having spatial awareness and girls did better with storytelling and recognizing characters or something.
Instead of being overly PC and fighting against these differences we should probably just embrace them, while still paying respect that there is a third gender out there (or maybe more). Like Sister Unity says, the sun is male energy, shining with pure masculine power and heated semen. The earth is female, a fertile ground in which all life springs forth. But what is the moon? It's a female form (earthy) but it takes place in the same spot as the sun. It's a minority compared to the sun and the earth, but it still exists nevertheless. Sooo gay people are interwoven in nature even though straight people will always take over things via their sheer numbers.
If a kid doesn't show signs of gender typical behaviors, it's not a defect, it's just different. It's just a part of nature. <3
