    It's relatively easy and inexpensive to build a cold-frame chicken coop. I've used a roll of 10 mil plastic sheeting stapled to a wood frame for exceptionally cold winters, although your winters are probably much colder, so 10 mil might be too thin. Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with that particular breed, mostly have raised Phoenix and Guineas. What will you feed it? Is this for fresh eggs, meat or are you keeping them as "pets"?
