I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE
Best description of functions:
Concerning the guys on the third and fourth picture: Looks like their beards could be inhabitated by some animals... squirrels or something like that. Oh I forgot - I am not allowed to make jokes about beards. :/ Apparently it's a sacrilege.
Not bad selections. I like them. SLEs make the world become real.
Ah yes. Enter the Taliban.
But it's Dschinghis Khan, isn't it? Best party song ever. Play that on German carnival, people turn totally crazy. And those who don't turn crazy leave the room or run away because they feel embarrassed. xD
Looks like a Jeff Foxworthy red neck special. Are these all friends of yours? (Rhetorical question)
I guess scowling faces means Se dom, as well as living in Louisiana.
Find pictures of these people:

The Old Man (pawn stars)
The trick is there may be more more people with same name and not all of them are necessarily a SLE.
lol @ big beards + man jaw = sle
not sure how socially introverted/extroverted markus schulz is, he could go either way.

Hmm, I can see LSE for louis CK. He kinda reminds me of michael ironside.
As for the 2nd guy being SEE, I've thought about it. But he'd always come up with random puzzles in his head and think of a way to get out of them, like making games for himself to solve. And he likes to play word games as well. Which I've always attributed to subjective logic. I do the same thing. I don't see very much Fi going on. This guy was a class clown, which SEE's are too, but with SLE's the joke is usually on them.
What makes you think ILE for the big guy?
How bout you post some photos of SLE's for us.

These guys all look like they convince themselves how important they are, which means Fi. SLE's don't feel important, nor do we have any sense thereof of what it means to be so. We simply follow our impulses and whatever reputation we earn from that is what happens. Objective Ethics. Sometimes we make rules to follow because "that's what good people do" but that's subjective logic, and there is no emotional content based on those decisions.

You're such a logical genius.
DJ Arendee gets 'supervised', end of socionics.
Supervise her in return, DJA.
Also, I feel like a lot of the socionics descriptions of SLE's don't describe very well the 3's, 5's, and 7's. I suspect there could even be some SLE 9's out there but I have no clue what they look like because the descriptions illustrate all SLE's as RUSSIAN GENERAL ZHUKOV. IRON FISTED MANIAC OF THE MOTHERLAND.
I mean, I suppose that description fits me as I get older, though 5 years ago it certainly wouldn't have.
One example is the game Skyrim, or as I like to call it, LSI's vs dragons.
I think, Elyas M'Barek may be SLE. He's a German-Austrian actor, quite popular in Germany. He also appeared in "City of Bones", well he played some vampire, haven't seen it yet. Well, I'm still not quite sure whether he's SLE or SEE, hard to tell as he is a very changeable character when he's acting. But he often plays SLEs.
This is a remarkable thread full of relevant eternal truths. you should write a book.
