Default Which intertype relation is most conductive to an affair?

Which intertype relationship would be your pick as the relationship most prone to an affair?

Now I know there would be a host of circumstances etc etc characters of the people involved rather than type

but in terms of the intertype relationship alone

For me I'd say illusionary - you tend to become friendly instantly
    - would have similar interests/have common ground
    - it's said it's easier for you to recognise your hidden agenda being fulfilled
    - you have similar weaknesses which i reckon would make you more likely to trust them

Would definitely NOT have an affair with an ILE. LIE, maybe.

I would say that ethically you are still supposed to act as if you have unilateral responsibility; but simultaneously you have to be able to see the other as a fully autonomous, free, aware person.

Medicalizing social problems has the additional benefit of rendering society not responsible for those social ills. If it’s a disease, it’s nobody’s fault. Yay empiricism.

how is who you are likely to have an affair with different than who you would generally be attracted to anyway? i guess the trust thing is a factor. i don't really understand how this question should be approached

All of my affairs are in order.

What does this say about my type?

Duals find each other boring at first. Mirages hit it off quickly. Semi-Duals burn "hot" for each other. Activators date quickly. Supervisors are mysterious and apparently higher in perceived social status. Benefactors seem to be people you really understand when you don't and can "ask" for something. Conflicts seem attractive at a distance. Superegos are the second most common married relation etc.

I am not naturally attracted to my duals.

I really dig Beta extraverts (semi-dual and supervisor) so I can see it possible.

super interesting, is there more where this came from.. i.e. contrasting and complementary?

It is implicit in the relationship descriptions. What you read is called an insight.

Identical? Easy to connect with and find things to talk about, easy to trust, definitely not interesting for anything long-term.

I could never have an affair with an identical.

I know you've got a thing for SLI's, Martisa. You don't fool me.

As we reach for the stars, we must put away childish things; gods, spirits and other phantasms of the brain. Reality is cruel and unforgiving, yet we must steel ourselves and secure the survival of our race through the unflinching pursuit of science and technology.

I would only have an affair with my conflict, super-ego or supervisor... then I can blame them when I'm feeling like a victim later.
