For the past year or so I've been contracted by Disney Mobile to make MIDI content for Tap Tap Revenge. That basically means I create note charts for songs they give me. They want me on board their team full-time as an audio content producer, but they don't have the budget to bring me on. So in the meantime, once my contract is up I'll be trying to find other work to scrape by until I find other audio opportunities. So far my best bet seems to be with the San Francisco Public Library, but we shall see how this unfolds.

Eh, it's a good start and a great professional connection to have. I do really like the work, being a music game enthusiast and all. But I can only work when they have stuff to give me, which is pretty few and far between. If it were a 40 hr/week deal I'd be set for a while, but I'm lucky if they give me one project every week, which I can easily finish in three hours. They really like me though, and they've told me that if something else production-wise comes along I'll be at the top of their list. But I can't depend on that happening in the near future, so I'll have to succumb to grunt work for some time.
Enjoy being happy about that while you can.
Business Analyst for a Government Healthcare Contractor: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Business_analyst
Last two jobs were Software Engineering Department QA Tester for a Real Estate Oracle Forms Applications (Yuck)
and Simulation Analyst for a Government Defense Contractor
I majored in Physics: Space Sciences (Physics with Aerospace Engineering)
Avocationally I am:
A pilot (private pilot, single engine land, VFR, Cesna 172's, currently not active and need to renew my medical and pilot review)
A musician (play trumpet and am in a Salsa band and practice currently at jazz, bebop, and afro-cuban style - Lee Morgan, Clifford Brown, Freddie Hubbard, Dizzy Gillespie, Miles Davis, Jon Faddis, Maynard Ferguson, and Arturo Sandoval are good examples of some greats I look up to)
A composer (I write orchestral and electronic style pieces using virtual instruments and fruity loops as a step sequencer)
A rock climber and runner athletically.
This pretty much sums up what I do vocationally/avocationally.
designing/writing code (C# .NET) for an Autocad- and Revit extension program, i.e. 3D modeling tools for engineers.
I leech off of my parents (they pay my bus card, food & accommodation). I'm kind of embarrassed admit this, but not enough to do anything about it. Not that there's much I could do. I also study in two different schools, so I get some alms from the government, but the future of this arrangement is unsure.
I'm a geologist with a junior Ni-Cu exploration company.
I like it, but the industry is so unstable I've started taking accounting courses with the idea of making a career change in a couple years.

I love geology. I started out with a degree towards geology and decided I would never be able to find a long-term job.. and went elsewhere... BUT... a member here Pht, has a pretty awesome job from what he has said in the geology/environmental science field.
also I wish my parents could help pay my stuff... ...they currently have too many responsibilities of their own but most of my friends still get money from their parents monthly for rent, etc.
I think most of u know my job. But idk what it is whenever i meet a pilot im like, in awe for some reason. Like i just met a celebrity. I guess because ive seen the inside of a cockpit and i know how hard their training is so its like theyre just these flying celebrity geniuses.
lol at all the people pretending they have good jobs. i guess it's true that you can get away with anything on the internet. itt: you wouldn't be spending time on typology boards if your life had real value.
I work as a professional boy toy and part-time porn actor.

Thankfully, the rise of consumer environmentalists is driving up the demand for unicorn shit, so I suspect a lot of geologists will still be able to make a lot of money in rainbow farming.
