For me -
Just stopping to soak in whatever good that my senses can pick up. A lot of the time, when I try to focus on everything, it can get to be sensory overload; but sometimes I just sit down and let whatever comes to me come, without trying to focus or set importance on or interpret anything. If something stands out to me, I enjoy it and just let it be. Wind on my face, sunlight in raindrops, daphne from the plant by my door, kids playing down the street, white pear tea.
Hugs from my sister, even if they're in text format.
Coming home to sit on the floor so my dog can try to fit himself on my lap, letting me hold and squeeze him.
Watching someone be kind to someone else.
Imagining stories in my head, escaping into other worlds.
Praying, especially for other people (taking my focus off myself, expanding it). Though it isn't always exactly pleasant, praying helps me with attitude adjustments, too.
...and sometimes bad moods are just because I need to eat something and/or be warm and/or sleep...

This is just a pet peeve of mine but I don't view sex as simple. I think good sex is like learning how to play a complicated musical instrument... and it requires creativity too. The older I get, the more I need 'extra parts in the story' to turn me on. I like it to be rich with many layers not just 'this is hot cuz its visceral.'
