    You scored 13/196 = 7%.
This beats or equals 9.5% of test takers.
    The average score is 84.
    Your high score is 13.

    I knew:
    Lima
    Mexico City
    Paris
    Berlin
    Athens
    Rome
    Amsterdam
    Moscow
    London
    Cairo
    Jerusalem
    Tokyo

I considered Budapest but thought it was a country.
Somehow I couldn't remember the capital of China.
I was certain Istanbul was the capital of Turkey and kept trying different spellings.

    I could have guessed:
    Caracas
    Copenhagen
    Dublin
    Stockholm
    Vatican City
    Baghdad
    Damascus
    Madrid
    Bangkok

Only 63% of people know the capital of Israel?

Really? Only 21% of people know what a roc is? That's part of casual conversation for my family.

    For countries of the world:

    Scoring
    You scored 69/196 = 35%.
This beats or equals 25.4% of test takers.
    The average score is 120.
    Your high score is 69.

Holy cow, that's a lot of teeny countries I missed.
Only 45% of people know Lesotho. That's a favorite of mine. I wouldn't mind naming my son Lesotho.
I got a lot of South American ones due to my Spanish class in 10th grade, the Asian ones thanks to my 8th grade geography teacher, and some obscure African names thanks to the woman from Africa whose autobiography I recently narrated. (Zambia not included; I made that country up before I knew it was a real country.)

    Capitals
    You scored 101/196 = 52%.

    Countries
    You scored 153/196 = 78%.

hmm, i think Tel Aviv should have been an acceptable answer for the capital of Israel.

also Kosovo was accepted as a country, and it has less international recognition than Palestine, which was not accepted as an answer.

    basically this.
i'd add that washington should have been an acceptable answer for some of those pacific islands, since they're basically american satellites. ; )

I couldn't even remember all the capitals I visited in. 15% of countries.

I'll still continue to feel more cultured than most of you.
