this is nice to see because i'm always seeing these things around about the power of introversion and how introverts are intelligent and special and how extroverts just don't understand etc. etc. etc. and i've always thought it was pretty dumb. there's nothing extra special about being an introvert or an extrovert.

I don't think I've ever heard someone complain that it is an extrovert. Introversion complaints are fairly common, although I find them often significantly more interesting as people.

I have experienced few of those problems mentioned there but it's not that bad for me.

Extroverts have this peppy american ideal that is so inspiring. Like no matter what happens to them, they just keep going.

Being out of touch with your own thoughts and feelings and instead directed so energetically to the external world definitely has it's perks. Like for an introvert, each day is an unbearable serious grind to deal with our grudge holdings. And @lungs introverts need that I'm a special unicorn crap to make us feel better about being a social minority, so I understand it in that sense but I also get exactly what you mean haha. Also people like to pat themselves on the back for being nice to the misfit or whatever.

I know it's just a comparison and maybe you didn't intend to say this, but I don't think that there is an actual correlation. I mean you don't have to be loud and annoying to be an extremist. Especially introverts seem to be very certain about their beliefs (if politics is an area of interest for them) and usually don't shy away from taking a radical stand if they think it's necessary.

Taking the middle ground is often (not always, mind you) a sign of disinterest. Extremism, however, is usually motivated by a strong belief which finds expression in different ways, depending on the personality of the individual.

    Don't call it extraversion.
