Default Sheldon and Davy Vanauken V.I.

Sheldon wrote A Severe Mercy on their story; I am one of the many fans who say its the best book they ever read (and reread and reread).... I just reread it, and obviously they are Duals, but which? Reading it I go all over the place. I think ISTp/ENFp, but wonder if I am projecting. Maybe ESTj/INFj? Or INTJ/ESFj? Or ENTp/ISFp?? I don't know. I don't do VI well, and maybe some of you can eliminate some of those possibilities at least.

Some facts, he was quite tall, she short, he was pilot and loved literature and history, she loved music, both loved sailing particularly as a way to enjoy life together with fewer responsibilities, she more F and he T for sure on that, she more warm and he more "domineering" said some friends later in spite of a very equal relationship...

The female looks like an ENFp the male looks IDK S type of some kind. ISTp would work although he looks more like a j type.

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

A sample of their table talks would be needed.
