What if you only have a central hand?

What if your body is not chiral, so you have a right-left hand?

What if you exclusively hold your drink with both hands, all the time?

Left, so that my right hand is free to lift an object, open a door, shake a hand, punch a face, etc..

Yes, very true. However my left hand is holding a beaker of acid, which I can throw at you.

    I win.

Anyhow, what's the point this thread is trying to make?

Those are table manners last time I checked. People normally don't use a knife in their right hand and fork in their left hand when having soup.

I use my penis to hold my drink. Through great training I have learned to flex my pelvic muscles to raise and lower the glass with great dexterity.

What's interesting is that, in American society, it's social custom and unconsciously taught at a young age, that when you need to cut something with a knife, you move your fork to your non-dominant hand and use the knife to cut with your dominant hand. As a Civilized Man, I am told to use my right hand to hold the knave and left to hold the fork while cutting, however, as a Independent American Bro with many enemies I've taught myself to hold a knife in my right hands at all times, in my left hand I hold my beer, although occasionally I'll have a gin and lemon juice when I'm feeling fruity.

I keep both my hands free because I'm usually standing at the bar or near a table. I'm right handed. If I'm wandering about my wing-man holds it.

Amber casts infinity of shadows, and my Avalon had cast many of its own, because of my presence there. I might be known on many earths that I had never trod, for shadows of myself had walked them, mimicking imperfectly my deeds and my thoughts.

Depends which side was closest to the drink at the time I picked it up and whether the other hand was busy with a side-specific skill.

Talking of cutlery, I was taught knife in right hand/fork in left hand, which the option of fork in right hand/spoon in left hand for spaghettis. You keep both in hand at all times while eating. The habit of cutting everything up then putting the knife down and switching the fork over looks childish to me, or suggests you're very very tired. Keeping your hands under the table is typically rude in France during meals, which is another reason both knife and fork stay in use.
    Reason is a whore.
