Wow! How old are you? You should have waited longer and gone for a record.

AbsurdEnough, please change your username back. I keep mistaking you for an LSE-Si When you're actually an ESE-Si.

@AbsurdEnough please keep your name whatever you prefer so that I can keep laughing at the comedy of people typing you your self-type and then once they find out that you are someone they don't like they retype you.

Maybe she's just looking at the LSE under your name.
I would say that ethically you are still supposed to act as if you have unilateral responsibility; but simultaneously you have to be able to see the other as a fully autonomous, free, aware person.

Medicalizing social problems has the additional benefit of rendering society not responsible for those social ills. If it’s a disease, it’s nobody’s fault. Yay empiricism.

I like him just fine! I just keep mistaking him for Absurd (who is LSE-Si).

Five years ago, I was talking about a 4-type personality system with my family. (Ways of sorting people have always interested me.) My older brother (Brilliand) walked through the room and mentioned something about socionics. I demanded he come explain it to me. I got pencil and paper and a hard surface (I think it was an orangish-brown book) and had him show me what he was talking about. He explained basic model A and told me the sixteen types. I typed myself, then the rest of my family. (For those who can't type themselves, you either don't understand the basic system or you don't know yourself.) I even got my 9-year-old brother's type right (though it wasn't until years later that I realized his subtype), and kids are usually hard to type since their personalities aren't fully developed.

With Brilliand's help, I set up some charts to print out about socionics. The model A of the 16 types (sorted by quadra), cognitive styles, clubs, and a couple other sections. I studied that for a couple of months, then I joined the forum, where people spoke the language I had just learned.
I am the only forum member to have found a romantic interest from the forum. I am also the only female LSE to be active for more than a month to the best of my knowledge.
