Default What do you get in this test?

(It's an MBTI test, yet I think it could be accurate, based on what I thought about the types of people who took this test in this thread: http://personalitycafe.com/whats-my-...ccurate-2.html)

    http://www.blogthings.com/howrareisyourpersonalityquiz/

I got ENFP and INFP on the second go.

    INFP

pretty standard result for MBTI tests for me in the past few years. I used to always get INTJ or INTP, but after my early 30s I started getting INFP or INFJ.

Your Personality is Very Rare (INFP)

Your personality type is dreamy, romantic, elegant, and expressive.

Only about 5% of all people have your personality, including 6% of all women and 4% of all men
You are Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, and Perceiving.

Even for mbti, this test wasn't good.
The result I got was: infp, then described me(as infp) as: Your personality type is dreamy, romantic, elegant, and expressive
One problem is that the test's questions had nothing to do with being romantic nor elegant (which are traits noone would accuse me of, lol).

ENFP, which is fairly consistent with other MBTI tests for me.

The test doesn't ask you those questions, it formulates this based on the amalgamation of your responses. You are certainly dreamy, expressive, kinda romantic and elegant enough based on what I see you as on your posts.

How do these integrate together to suggest an elegant and romantic personality:
Prefer to be by self when stressed.
Quietest>most popular (though I was neither quiet nor popular). (Edited to add that this answer didn't even matter to the outcome of the test.)
See how things go in life rather than construct a life plan.
    A messy closet.
    Casual settings rather than formal.
Fighting with a friend ruins the day.
    Emotional rather than rational.
    Realistic art over abstract.
    Remembers ideas rather than facts.
    Identifies more with fictional characters.

I can see it drawing the conclusion of dreamy. I can barely see the possibility of expressive. But none of those suggest to me romantic nor elegant.

Wow, ok, this test really sux!!
I altered the answers for quiet/popular, sensitive/serious, real/abstract art, identify with real/fictional people....
And even with all of those altered at the same time, it still gave infp as the result.

Ok, i did a break down, simple one yes, the wonders of procrastination allowed me this time. I went one at a time, so only one answer was chosen, all else were blank.

    Upon further looking it over,
First three questions can bring you from the starting E to an I.
Next three questions can bring you from the starting J to a P.
Next three questions can bring you from the starting F to a T.
Last three questions can bring you from the starting N to S.

Admittedly it has three questions for each so there can be no tie.

That was one of the questions I was iffy on. When I look at art, I don't lump it as abstract vs realistic. So looking back over paintins I've liked, it's a mix. Looking at sculptures, it's a mix as well. Some stuff I like because of the material used. Some for the texture, some for the strokes or formedness, some for color, some even for how I feel looking at it (comfy, safe, etc), etc.

    Dual type (as per tcaudilllg)
    Enneagram 5 (wings either 4 or 6)?

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

Quietest or most popular? Where's the "directly in the middle" option?
ISTJ again. It says that's the most common. 9% of women and 17% of men?

These add up to 92%. 96% for women and 83% for men.

If I made the test i'd tell you, otherwise maybe i'm lazy I don't feel like working out the persons logics/algorithms to explain. But you know, someone might tell you a few things about them, and then you piece together the dots to come to a conclusion.

I'm not saying the type is right, but I think the description isn't too bad for you (maybe i'm wrong).

As for the test, I thought it was pretty good and not too far off the mark compared to some other tests i've seen (eg some highly theoretical 'intelligent' test re socionics involving reinin dichomoties or perhaps some other alchemy), it's close enough imo for me and you bar perhaps a dichotomy here and there. Etc won't knock it for it's conciseness in it's attempt, remembering most or all tests can be lame anyways. Also not taking itself too seriously by lasting for comparatively forever.

Got ISFp here... taking these kind of tests after you have understood the theory is kinda.. pointless First time I took the test I knew nothing about the socionics and got ISFp too (the test was a good one, from what I can tell), but I'm still a bit confused..

Filled in eight questions: ENFP. (Questions chosen on basis of being able to chose between stupid dichotomies.)
God also had a plan for my birthday apparently.
Personal opinion of test: among the worst I've seen.

I also wondered what all the percentages added up to lol.
