Default When do you do the exercise?

Health is wealth. To keep it fit, we must have to perform some regular physical exercise. It can be done in the morning, in the afternoon and in the night. When do you do the exercise?

Evenings, after work. If I don't work that day its usually earlier in the afternoon. I'm not a morning person so there's no way I'm getting up 5:00 am to work out like some people I know. I would rather shoot myself

Late morning (11-12) or mid-afternoon (2-4) works best for me. That's when my blood sugar levels aren't so low I want to throw up (like early in the morning), and when I have the most energy.
"How could we forget those ancient myths that stand at the beginning of all races, the myths about dragons that at the last moment are transformed into princesses? Perhaps all the dragons in our lives are princesses who are only waiting to see us act, just once, with beauty and courage. Perhaps everything that frightens us is, in its deepest essence, something helpless that wants our love."

In the evenings I go running with my big dog and a can of pepper spray. I have a lot of energy at night.

Beyond walking the dogs I never do the exercise. I eat like three fully grown men and I'm still a size zero. I've been thinking I should probably do some cardo for my overall heath, but I think I would lose too much weight.

Exercise is extremely important for everyone regardless of body-type. I used to have a kind of counseling job regarding this; I'm probably preaching to the choir, but anyways:

Also, weightlifting cured my skinniness. It takes a bit of time, but it works. I've also noticed that now that I have more muscle strength, I'm less clumsy and accident prone. Basic things in life are less difficult.

Contrary to popular belief, lifting weights does not make women look bulky and masculine. The ones that do look that way are on steroids.

Nope. When I was in the military I lost all my body-fat, stopped menstruating, and I still didn’t look buff I missed the fat because I lost all tolerance to cold. I just shivered uncontrollably when I got home, and people around me seemed comfortable. All that and I still wasn’t muscular. It was cold and there was no cake.

I remember someone telling me that they looked like they'd just come out of a concentration camp after finishing basic training, lol. All that cardio will burn up both your fat and muscle fast. Thats why when I started exercising to gain weight, I skipped over cardio almost completely and just lifted heavy while eating meals high in carbs and protein. Only now that I'm at a comfortable goal weight am I starting to incorporate more cardio into my routine.

If I'm not busy I prefer the early afternoon, between 1 and 3 PM. Usually I get somewhat sleepy by that time, and exercise is a nice "boost" to my sleepiness.

If I'm aiming for peak performance tho, I prefer around 10 AM.

I liked basic training. I think out of about 200-250 men, I was the only that had to look at the drill sergeants. I seemed unaffected by their shouting and tormenting, so they figured they could scare me by making me see them scream at me? I was always forced to look them in the eyes. They were bizarre.

I need to lifts weights, but I don't want to pay for a gym membership. Hmmm I had a friend who did hot yoga and she had a great body; she was muscular. Yoga is so boring though.

Usually just before it gets dark. I'm too afraid of punk ass teenagers attacking/raping me to exercise at night.

I typically workout between 9 and noon. I run 2.5 miles to the gym, lift weights, and run home. Sometimes I'll substitute biking or cardio circuits if I feel like certain leg muscles need a rest.

I work out all day every day. when I can get to the beach I'll swim or surf for a couple of hours, which is like working out x1000. Also, I enjoy moving massive piles of mulch, soil and rocks with a shovel and two five-gallon buckets. wheelbarrows and carts are for p******s.

NOT FAIR. And you probably eat at Biscuit World all of the time...

We don't have Biscuit World in el-Meheco, but I make a point of eating cake for breakfast at least three times weekly.

OMG, you know biscuit world??? We drove by it when driving from VA to Ohio, and I thought it was a biscuit theme park. I freaked out and begged to go, but my husband would not entertain the idea, and told me the truth about what it was. I didn't care and couldn't believe it... my hopes and dreams....crushed! We never did go.

Biscuit theme park describes it perfectly.

For a "regular" gym visit, I prefer mornings because it perks me up. For swimming I like evenings because it makes me tired (plus I don't have to share lanes). Well, and walking the dogs four times a day (but only two long walks).

I don't usually exercise because I hate to sweat. I do however strictly monitor my caloric intake and eat whatever natural foods I'm craving at the moment. If I feel like I'm becoming too flabby I use my exercise bike anywhere from 5-240 minutes. So I basically just listen to what my body is telling me and act on it.

I find evening works best for me as I'm not a morning person. Sometimes I jog at night, but then I won't sleep so evening is better.

As for me, I don't have enough time to do this as much as I want, therefore I try to do this always when I have such a possibility. Some exercises - in the morning, others - in the afternoon and also during the day of course.
