Default Tim Tebow (New York Jets QB)

Known for being a terrible quarterback with intangibles capable of uniting (and dividing) a team.

11/14/12: "One unnamed teammate whom the [New York] Daily News identified as a defensive starter was blunt: "He's terrible."

Any opinions as to whether Tebow is EIE or ESE?

My vague impression of him has been Beta > anything + EJ.

Interesting... Does this guy glitch anyone else's Socionics matrices?

siuntal, I get where you're coming from with the VI on the photos -- I'm interested in what you (or anyone else here) thinks when you hear Tebow speak. Mild-mannered "aw shucks" kind of doofus, is my impression - but also genuine, a hardcore Christian, so much that he's still a virgin despite being a multi-millionaire and good-looking.

I remember crying after losing a championship game years ago, with a few teammates in the locker room - lower stakes, of course - but here's Tebow crying during and after a big game, in front of a huge audience.

    During:

    After:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SN4Fx...feature=fvwrel

I can't remember seeing a pro football player ramble so demurely about "fun," or feeling "excited" (in a 5 year-old on Christmas morning way; not in a "I'll rip my opponents' face off" way.)
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nsck0PLG8kkTebow

(Not that there's anything wrong with that.)

On the field, Tebow's almost always been gutsy, tough, and chaotic. In the NFL, when he's has success, it's usually been a whirlwind miracle. When he's lost, it's usually been an inept disaster. There hasn't been much in-between.

Anyone noticed anything else, or read anything into any of this socionics-wise?

First thought was that he reminded me of my SEE cousin.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

He's pretty obviously Se-leading IMO. In his book "Through My Eyes", he talks about the story of running down the guy from 3rd base, while at shortstop, because he didn't want to risk something being out of his control. He also talks about the lifting competition, where he didn't care about just beating other people, but he wanted to blow them out of the water. I would lean ESTp>ESFp. He reminds me of my ESTp friend who also has amazingly strong Christian values.

In both still pix and videos he reminds me spookily much of my dad, who I think was SEE.

Me: “It’s just, like, idea boards.”

FWIW, I know people who had Tim Tebow in their class and said he was extremely nice and polite. No attitude or arrogance at all from what I heard. Very unlike the 12 or so U of Florida players I had a class with once...

I really cannot tell my dual apart from my conflictor. We need a "how to separate SEE from ESE thread" the big quasi-identical mix up!

I still guess ESE, but I might be wrong. First off, how is he not like Tom Crusie, who I understand to be an ESE? Why is he more like Syvester Stallione, who I understand to be an SEE?

ESE >>>>>>> SEE in my opinion

I see Rosberg's similarities with Tebow - "competitive athlete," "internal drive," "image conscious," and all. Socionics-wise, does anyone see any similarities?

Shouldn't every quadra and type express these traits - just differently?

Tebow's a bitch to type. How many other NFL player have gotten a Mani/Pedi in WeHo http://articles.nydailynews.com/2012...ideos-rex-ryan and then gone out to preach the Gospel? (I don't know the answer, lol.)

A few questions: if Tebow values Te, how come he's never showed aptitude in learning how to throw the football efficiently? My SLE Mom throws with less wasted energy, and she's never had lessons from Urban Meyer or John Elway. Shouldn't he value practicality and technique, in the Gamma sense?

Haven't thought about his type as I don't pay much attention to football. I do love me some super bowl but that's about it. Beyond that though I do pay attention to stand-up comedy and I love how much Daniel Tosh hates on this guy. I believe Daniel Tosh is some Beta/Gamma type if that helps.

Yeah, unless he just sucks naturally. Type can't say shit about that.
