God I wish equality of distribution was a thing. I mean it might be but it sure as hell doesn't seem like it.

I think the ISTj's are the highest percentage. At least it seems that way. I work for the Department of Defense, so every other person is ISTj. ENFp's are rare.

I'm a recent grad looking at the moment, however my degree was in performance art and I ran into maybe 6 people I could reasonably assume were Te ego types in 4 years?

Let me tell you, that is no way to live life.

Ew, I hope I contribute more to the world than "quirky."

Of course. But the ENFPs complete disregard for convention is what allows the rest of us to tag along for the roller-coaster ride. Someone must be out front, leading the way, and the ENFP has the courage (or inability to stop themselves) to step out and show the uptight types how to live a little.

ENFPs offer so much in the way of caring for others, vulnerability, individualism, and optimism. The quirkiness is just a bonus.

Must be fun imagineering character qualities for people who don't exist. I identify with little of what you've described. Caring for others (in any more than a sympathetic way), optimism, and "quirkiness" are not my forte.

Go on Galen... don't be shy, let your inner quirkiness shine through. You know you want to... just let it shine.

"Quirky" is an excuse for invasive, shallow, spastic retards to show utter disregard for the welfare of other people in the name of "being myself." The same sort of person who thinks blurting out tried-and-true humor words like "cheese" at inopportune times is a proper substitute for real wit or substance of character.

Hey, Don't put words in my keyboard. I intended this thread as a positive expression of our regard for ENFp's. Quirk is not a bad word if you live in a world that is buttoned-down, regulated, and structured to death. So, lighten-up ENFp. I'm on your side.

It doesn't work as a positive expression when what you're trying to express isn't representative of my character. My internal conception of 'quirky' is that it's all an image fabrication, a roundabout way of fitting in with people by trying to accentuate differences that don't even exist in the first place. This gives with it a sense of try-hardiness, trying to forcefeed an image down people's throats, which has always irked me. The only marginally positive effect I see it having is people responding with "hyuck hyuck look how different the different person is," but you'd only get this response from people who don't know how to look past a thin veneer of image fabrication and find deeper substance.
