Your children are very similar. And very pretty.

I don't think people can really be typed at least before the end of teenage. Wait for the hormones to normalize and then the personality will start to settle.

Yes implied she is so esfj it's amazing. There should be a picture of Miranda next to the esfj description.

My little one, Skye, is a little bit tricky, a little bit of a dickens. You have to explain everything to her in detail or she won't comply. She has a rich fantasy life that her sister never really demonstrated. At age 2 she once told me and my parents a long made up story with convoluted twists and turns. We were all stupefied.

She knows how to get what she wants despite her age . . . this makes me think enfp more than entp. She will identify some complex feelings.

    Does this help anybody decide?

I want to say ENFp but probably just because I want that little cutie to be the same type as I am

They're both adorable. And I love the name Skye too.

The name Skye was my idea. I love the name too!!

Enfp would make sense - her sister would be her benefactor. But she'd be my comparative, , and her Dad's superego, I think.

I've got a quasi-identical parent. My sister and my dad are contraries. My husband and his dad are comparitives. It works out OK.

If she is ENFp, at least you'll recognize why she is the way she is and not just think badly of her.

It's possible to see rudimentary forms of certain functions manifest in children types. Remember, it's not that they don't have personality, it's still in a primitive form. There's clear evidence of personality differences between children, enough to say it must apply. It's true that their "adult" selves will be vastly developed, but this could also be a very difficult thing to type. Find the correlations, and see what's most common.

yeah i thought ENFP before i read the thread so could be a possiblility ;0)

Until the age of about 13 i was a little terror. Wanted to be the class clown, would always be making friends, getting into trouble at school as i wanted to play and not do work.

    Enjoy

    You have lovely daughters.

Uh, all I can say is that they both look like extroverts. (though most children do)

I see why you would say that - the older one is very protective and err managerial of the younger. That's evident in the picture. But it would mean that Skye would be an intj. Some say that intj's are very friendly and outgoing when they are kids and then they get quiet as adults. It could be a possibility.

I do see Ne with her and can't distinguish Ti or Fi. It's like it hasn't evolved yet or something. But she gets along well with other kids.

Up until I was 5 I was very freindly and the leader of the pack. Around five years old, a light switched on and I wasn't like that anymore. For awhile, my parents thought something was wrong with me. Is she very reflective for her age, while at the same time social?

This is very true for me.

@oyburger and MS: yes my intj brother was the exact same way. He became "introverted" at age eleven when we moved.

I read on Rick's site that the second most popular relationship for couples is beneficient. According to a study there, forty five percent of the couples studied were duals, followed by ten percent benefactor/beneficiary, and them very small percentages of other relationships.

So with the girls, I could be seeing either dual or benefactor/beneficiary, I spose.

Come to think of it, my best boyfriend was an enfj.
