Thread: Your face and how it relates to Socionics

Default Your face and how it relates to Socionics

First, here is a diagram of the facial points referenced for discrimination:

Next, here are how the points correlate in regard to what correlates the strongest and what correlates the weakest:

Last, here are composites of each gender:

Can we see your face? And how about your hands? As an extravert in all known theories, albeit a reserved extravert, I check out on all known diagrams for extraversion. Do you, too?

My hands check out, in every point considered, as an extrovert. My friend of 20 years, a definitive introvert, or an introvert's introvert, checks out on all points for introversion.

    Can we see your hands?

You have to open the last image in its own window in order to see it properly. For those of you who use IE and are not computer savvy just click on the link.

According to this I think both my hands and face look extroverted. Oh my God. Identity crisis mode.

Err. Maybe not my face. They both look the same to me. I flunk at faces.

I think the relativity would show up better in female:female comparisons, but the majority of relative references show introversion on yours, I think. Especially look at the width of my hand compared to the legnth of the digits.

My hand is that of an introvert:

    Dual type (as per tcaudilllg)
    Enneagram 5 (wings either 4 or 6)?

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

    My hand is extraverted.

Actually, my left hand is introverted and my right hand is extraverted.

    WHAT DOES IT MEAN.
And I would hide my face in you and you would hide your face in me, and nobody would ever see us any more.

My subjective observations from the VI gallery:

    Extroverts have sharper expressions
    Introverts have weaker, faded expressions

Ethicals look like they're looking at a person
Logicals look like they're thinking or have the back-burner on

    Judgers look more self-satisfied
    Perceivers look more receptive

Like...squarer features? So extroverts tend to have square jaws more often that introverts? And sharper eyebrows? And pointier noses? :S

No, I'm talking about features of expression. VI isn't about the shape of bones, but one thing I noticed is sharper expression in eyebrows on average.

It's not like there was a continuous process of me spamming in your thread going on. I just made one short remark and left, ignoring the later posts that had references to mine. But now that you complained I absolutely have to post this, too.

Not according to the graph I don't. Neither one of them fit any of the introvert criteria. I MAYBE have large knuckles and that's it.
