    Default IM obliviousness

If I show somebody my Fi repeatedly, and then they continue the conversation as though I said nothing, does that say something about their type?

EDIT: She doesn't like my Ne humor either. OH NO IS SHE MY CONFLICT??? D:

It's easy for ExTps to not know wtf is due to its introverted nature, often why I see them misdefine or create stereotypes about it.

i don't know if id necessarily attribute it to the polr, i've noticed myself doing this with fe because it seems superfluous to me a lot of the time.
not that it couldn't be the polr.
    i don't have a good answer.
soooooooo what do you like about her?

How do you show somebody your Fi? What are you doing exactly?

I... I don't know. I just feel her ignoring it. I can feel these things!

In retrospect, I guess it wasn't Fi. I was thinking it was because it was centered around repairing the bond between me and her. Basically, I commented on a facebook status where she said, "X joke is not funny," to which I responded "X joke" and then she said "congratulations you pissed me off." After which I apologized profusely, I was not trying to offend her or anything, we just differ in styles of humor. To which she asked, "Why would you think I would enjoy X when I just said X is not funny" and I told her, some people would think it is funny and ironic and then, it got resolved but only because I just accepted everything she was saying.

Imo often ID information. Can be quasi-identity. My ESI mom often showers me with Fi, asking about my attitude towards things "did this and this fulfill your expectations?", "were you disappointed?", or talking about decency, or things about the importance of keeping in touch with family. I just want to let it pass, I find it unnescessary to verbalize these things. Yes, they are important, but not something that I talk about.

I don't ignore polr in the same way, because it forces me to pay attention carefully, it's conscious and vulnerable. Of course if it continues I can start to pretend that I ignore it, to avoid the psychological pressure.
