I think it's pretty important, and so does this girl:
Male, Important
Male, Somewhat Important
Male, Not Important
Female, Important
Female, Somewhat Important
Female, Not Important
I think it's pretty important, and so does this girl:
Chicks don't look *as* pretty without makeup. though having it caked on and clown eyes is the other extreme.
Chicks sure as hell don't smell good without perfume/nice lotions.
I barely wear makeup, but when I do, I feel prettier instantly. even if it's just eyeliner..
and I loveeeeeeeee smelling nice.
Makeup done well is awesome. Makeup done poorly is a nightmare.

I think au naturel is beautiful, unless you have bad skin. It's not that women are ugly without it (and I know you weren't saying that either), it's more along the lines of something I've said before, in another thread: cosmetics done properly accentuate the beauty that is already there.
I think everyone can agree with this!
I wouldn't know since I don't use it. It just seems like a tremendous waste of time to me. I have wai more important things to do than attending to my toilette.
I don't really think that it would improve my appearance and I wouldn't really care since I'm not trying to impress anyone.
I value aesthetics, but I'm not impressed by people throwing a little glitter on themselves.

I always find that when comparing before/after make-up pics, I always gravitate towards the befores.
and I HATE smelling nice
i'm gonna smell like boy until i'm 95
It can be fun here and there, but its really burdensome when a girl does this for an hour + each day, rather than make it a cool occasion. It really comes down to, "Do I want to live with this?"
Among my circles it's really easy to put makeup too much for our taste. Only men and betas wear a lot of makeup in these parties. Women who have just woken up are often the subject of praise.

I hate when I can smell women's perfume. It makes me want to puke for some reason. Not because it smells bad, but I hate smelling women. I love smelling guys, though. This means I'm straight, ftr.
Still not sure what does that bikini have to do with applying makeup.

She was attempting to point out that girls don't tend to look hawt when they are working out.

On a completely unrelated note my iPad attempted to change hawt to hawtjob.

jenna marbles is fake like a cake but at least she appears to have a healthy approach to it.
@Scapegrace,is that robbie williams on your avatar?
Who? It's Yuri Knorozov. The second hottest Russian.
(the first, of course, is Yaaroslav.)

what did that mayan stuff say and who's the hottest one?
Are you asking why he looks so happy? He broke the Mayan code.
For Mayan stuff read the Popol Vuh. It's quite an interesting creation story. We don't know a lot about what the Mayans said becaumse Asshat de las Casas burnt all their shit.
So most of what we have are inscriptions on cups and things that say " XOLOITZTLAN'S CHCOLATE CUP" and other boring shit.

as i've already said,it all comes down to manipulation through sensoric stimulation.sane people who live in this little matrix as we know it do it because it will get them somewhere but they do not base their hopes on it when it comes to finding an other sane individual to paddle with.
CC's line sounds right but i think that most women do not understand what she meant.instead they use it to support a pseudo-ideal. .
not very important, if I apply any cosmetics I go for the natural look
my main issue with make-up has been that too much of it can make girls look too mature, like if you take a look at Jenna's pictures in the OP on the right without make-up she can pass for a teen while on the left one she looks almost ten years older
Not very important to me at all as I mostly prefer the naturalish look including nails and naturally dried hair. I do however like dyed hair and started doing this to myself from a young age even trying out green and pink hair. I think a half head of foils can be far more uplifting on a person than a ton of makeup.
I didn't really ever 'play' with makeup until my thirties when my daughters became interested in it, for me it's just the basics when needed though I do understand it's importance in a presentation sense and in fact have amassed quite an accumulation of items.
Too much makeup, makeup talk etc and spending time on looks is a turn off...I prefer to be ready within minutes!

i'd say cosmetics use is "important" in the sense that it can influence how people see you by transforming your appearance to some extent, whether subtly or dramatically. to me it's like other aspects of personal grooming - done right it can be used to enhance your appearance & demonstrate that you take care of yourself.
i wouldn't say that it's "important" in the sense that it's an absolutely necessary thing for women to do though - to each her own.
