The person I can totally be myself with...LSE female. (I just met her a few months ago, and she's moving away soon. I'm seriously going to miss her and that freedom to be me. I haven't felt such freedom in over 25 years.)

There's a neighbor couple as well, the wife is another focused driven talks very quickly person that I always feel rushed around. And her husband who is mellower and I feel more comfortable around. I think she is LIE, and he is ESI-9.
The three above hang out with each other a lot.
There's another neighbor I'm trying to get to know. I don't feel as blocked around her, but she's definitely got way more focused and driven energy than I could ever have. Not sure yet, but possibly LSE. Around her I just feel unsure, rather than overridden like I do with the other two neighbor ladies. I haven't gotten to chat with her husband yet, but from what she says, he and Richard might get along.
Best friend from 5th-12th grade, and the only other person I've ever felt comfortable enough with to be me...SLI female.
Edited to add: an SLE female that I wanted to get to know and be closer friends with, but we've never quite been able to mesh well. But I admire her a great deal, and love her smile and laughter.

uhh let's see: 2 SLEs, 3 IEIs, 2 ILEs, LSI, IxE, LIE, EIE (annoying fucknut though), xEI, and probably many others I'm forgetting. I just scrolled through my recent convos and picked out the ones whose types I'm relatively sure of.

I’ve thought long and hard about which of my friends I could get back in touch with. I think I could be friends with the SLI female I mentioned- she never did anything wrong. Plus, I get on well with her SLE best friend. And I need more women in my life

my closest friends are ESE-Si, SLI-Si, SLI-Si (x2), and ESI-Fi (i consider my mom my friend).
i used to have a EIE friend i spoke to nearly every day but we stopped talking once their interests shifted. no hard feelings, but i feel like my relationships with people who have the same information flow / ring of social progress as me are more stable and enduring over time.
my interpersonal dynamics with types who have the same information metabolism flow as me feel revitalizing, while interactions with the types of opposite flow to me make me feel more on edge/alert and more deliberate in communication.

Never had any irl friends (due to my extreme social awkwardness and reclusive demeanor).. But if you’re basing on a a classical aushura metric of socionics, most my friends would be ILI, and LSI, interestingly enough, the benefit ring of an EII (I am more of an EII in SCS than an IEI, I’ve explained why on my thread).. A few LII too.
Now by other models.. My friends online are mostly beta plus the ILI and one LII by that standard.
(If I didn’t insinuate it clear enough by saying IRL, my friends are online ones).
Most of my friends by aushura would be ILI 5’s.. And they work better than LSI’s as friends for me.
