I can't help but be skeptical of this claim. If so, perhaps technology has already proven VI, although they use it unaware of socionics. I'd be curious to find the exact mathematical ratios they use, which measurements of the face they exam, to ultimately determine the % match.

I'm not getting a surplus of ESEs from this. More like a wide spectrum of types. I think the more you play around with it, the more refined your results become (i.e. if you discriminate based on type, the algorithm will eventually give you a bunch of people with the same data).

It's not rocket science, just a truth table.

However, I'm not getting much data back from it. It looks to me like the same old deal of "I select which girl I like, she lets me know whether she likes me or not but it doesn't affect the algorithm." What's really needed is straight up data to let me know whether or not I'm wasting my time by concentrating on all the wrong women, and should compromise, or if my affections are returned. Otherwise it's just an ad-driver, like the other free sites.

its in the video. they do distance between the eyes and and corners of mouth and chin and nose placement. basically the shape. nothing to do with the way most people here vi.

I notice they are using several algorithims for the shape. They seem to do cheeks/eyes/nose then outerjaw/forehead/lips and so on. Pretty idiotic, I think. and they only gave me 16 matches.

I got 148 matches. This included Bruce Willis, Harry Potter, Vladimir Putin and Elizabeth Taylor. I guess if I procreated with Putin, our offspring would be pretty tough... screwy, but tough. Anyway, I'll ask him about it.

Five men look so much like me or my brother that it's too creepy to consider. Too many of them don't have a square enough jaw for me to find them attractive. Though most of the women I found VERY attractive.

The reason why I knew they were his duals is because I have known so many people that have looked so similar to the matches. I have typed those people and they are IEEs. I use VI a lot. It comes easily and naturally to me because of my predominant Ne. My Ti then categorizes these people resulting in an accurate typing a majority of the time. I believe that if Socionics can become mainstream, technology will surface that can type people. Human behaviors vastly differ even between types and the relational typing (although more accurate) can still be observed as subjective. Having effective technology will provide a concrete way to find someone's type. On this forum, so many people have their opinions of what type people are and it's sad that many of times a unanimous conclusion cannot be made. If there is empirical evidence of types, then Socionics can finally move out of its pseudo-science stigma and into the legitimate science that many of us believe it should be in.
