I've had that connection with others. I've heard people say "I was thinking this was going to happen to you." Never in any case like the one I have with my family. I've had many many cases where I've felt a certain way and didn't know what it was until the person I was feeling for told me that's what they were going through. For instance, one day, after breakfast, I went to my car and got behind the wheel and started screaming frantically, words of anger and disappointment. Come to find out a few seconds later that my sister was making these remarks to an angry teenager who she was trying to get under control and she was hundreds of miles away from me. It's kind of typical for me to have these connective feelings so I think nothing of them and am no longer surprised when they happen; I just take a minute and say "who is this?" and the answer comes to me "oh, no, it's mom" etc.

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. Not really. I may have had moments with people that seemed a little more than coincidence. But it was probably just that.
Many people I have taken acid with have become a bit like that. During one acid trip we had a 30 second conversation without words. There were lot of gestures but we knew one another so well that we knew that what we were about to say and then started replying to that but never began because the other who was about to say something understood that the other one already knew the contents of that message and is soon going to give a mute reply. It was amazing.
With this guy we were also able to include our mutual friend and my ex-roommate to our trip although he hadn't taken anything that day.
I also often knew beforehand when he wanted me to roll him a cigarette and I often did that before he had to ask.

same thing aquagraph said. same exact thing. only in our early acid trips together me and my ex had that. as our relationship started deteriorating it ended.

it's only happened completely with one person, and yeah that was on acid, but because of the setting, there wasn't room for more intimate conversation, just a feeling that my brain was being shared every time we were standing next to each other observing; there weren't finished sentences, cause I'll hardly ever talk on acid, and even though words felt unnecessary, they served as a testament to the scenario's thematic value. other than that, it just comes in degrees, mostly instinctive/biological, I'm hard-pressed to believe I'll run into someone on a daily, sober basis who's already 'there' but shrug.

This isn't telepathic, but I was friends with an identical once and we seemed to be able to nearly read one another's minds. Also, he would say exactly the thing I was about to say, and I would say things he was going to say. Weird because we hadn't known one another for very long. It happened almost instantly.
My daughter and I are VERY much this way, all the time. The words that come out of her mouth are exactly what I'm thinking in nearly every given situation. And she's said the same about me. Of course we've lived together for a long time but I don't do this with my other daughter or my son.
