I find that there's generally some sort of attentive wiliness in Sx eyes, usually a lot more apparent in video than in stills; sorta like a "you know I'm up to no good, and you know you wanna join in." Sp eyes are a lot less focused and not as focused on their surroundings, like pretty much any of the Sp types listed above. Social eyes are just uh ... uhhh ... I dunno, something about them just seems off to me. It's like they notice their surroundings, but still not entirely focused on one thing like with Sx.

If the face-masher website was still operational I'd make composites of like 20 representatives of each stacking. ugh

good idea I've been noticing some similarities in the impressions of so/sp, they have this certain ethereal dryness analogous to drought formed cracked mud wrapped into arid atmosphere, it's easy to breathe around them but there is something slightly reptilian to their looks, like this -

 

so i think there is something to this instinct vi thing ... ok,stackings that I'm relatively certain of:

Pretty much! The test composites I've run seem to go that way.

If possible I'd like stackings from all types, socionics and enneagram, just to make sure I'm isolating the instinct as much as possible. I'll take what I can get though, as there's no upper limit to how many people I can add to each composite.

I'm OK with Louis as sp/sx too, as long as he's so-last. That's his most obvious trait imo. Russell Peters could indeed be so/sx; I just feel really distanced and uncomfortable when I'm watching his stand-ups because he generalizes people in broad strokes and I keep thinking I want to strangle this douchebag. That's not necessarily sx-last but yeah lol.

I notice all the SX primary types have a very in your face vibe, as if they are about to say something TO YOU whether you like it or not.

I think the SO's have a very un-threatening vibe, as if they're inviting you to talk to them.

The SP's have a sort of standoffish vibe, you don't really have an invitation to talk to them but they aren't tresspassing on your territory like the SX's. They're sorta off in their own little world it seems.

Idunno much about the sub variations.

i couldn't figure out why Putin has always made a rather averse impression on me while a lot of russian women see him as an embodiment of alpha masculinity and prestige, and then it hit me:

 

the similarities are striking lol ... not to say that this is property of so/sp stacking, it's just him, he's like this developed neocortex sitting on vestiges of reptilian brain ... cold, calculating, impersonal.. it's unsettling...


Robin Williams I had down as so/sx. There are a lot of sexual innuendos in his comedy making me believe sx is his creative/secondary instinct. On enneagram forum someone has commented that the secondary instinct gets used in this exhibitionistic manner, with which I tend to agree.

I've started collecting various notes on the instincts in this article, since I've read quite a bit on them and later realized it would be a good idea to write some of it down - one of the dfgray's posts mentioned that so/sx infuses sexuality into social area, and Williams does exactly that in his standup (as do B&D and woof on this forum, both of whom i type as so/sx).

I actually somewhat disagree with these ones:

Why do soc/sp's monitor the collective well being?
-soc/sp's project survival consciousness into the social realm
sp ---> into ---> soc

Why are sp/soc's the backbone of society?
-sp/soc's develop and manage resources that benefit the community
soc ---> into ---> sp

The so/sp is more like expropriation resources for the community, which they come to embody themselves (ex: within groups that they associate with they start referencing themselves as "we"). While sp/so is more like trying to become a resource to the community.

one thing about sp/sx's that I've noticed is that they are really good at noticing the small, everyday things pertaining to the common denominators of living experience (like eating, going to school, sleeping, fucking, etc.) which is something that struck me about Louis Ck, that a lot of his comedy is based around these mundane activities and his family life, and he is very explicit about sx stuff, so i figured sp/sx is a better match ... I know what you're talking about with Russell Peters lol and that's probably aggravated by his so-firstness and 2D Fe-HA

Sp/Sos though are so anomalous to me, I need more examples.

they are difficult to spot for me, too, seem to keep out of limelight ... various association that come to mind with this stacking: hardworking, strives to be an assert/resource to others, conservationist vibe, may be into environmentalism, protecting material resources etc. retractive, reticent, sometimes seem a bit submissive (mix of sp and so instincts is doubly phobic), airy/light in communication, strive to stay clean and healthy

This is the same sort of vibe I get from so/sp males, although not generally as amphibian as Putin. So/Sp XXFx types have a markedly different affect, but still feel kind of standoffish and diffuse to me, like they won't react to the things I say/do in the ways I expect.

So/Sp females on the other hand make me think of a leader of the local Republican party convention, hosting a lavish party at mansion in the most secluded of white suburbia with Triscuits and sparkling cider at the dinner table in a passive attempt to seem 'inviting', telling tall tales of her run-ins with the Ethnic Part Of Town, ones which anybody with a sense of humor or sarcasm would laugh at but in this situation are instead met with furrowed brows and nodding heads as if all are in agreement that The Problem must be dealt with.

On enneagram forum someone has commented that the secondary instinct gets used in this exhibitionistic manner, with which I tend to agree.

In theory I agree with this, but I'd have to pay closer attention in order to see it. I will say that I find sx-secondary types to be comfortably engaging in a sort of superficial manner, like they'll sort of play along with my desires for connection. Their interactions will still be very colored by their primary instinct though.

Along this line, so far my impression of So/Sx makes me think of people like Kari Byron, Hilary Swank, Daniel Tosh, etc. All three of them seemingly engaging with who they're talking with fairly well, but there's still this little element of diffusion in their energy which causes them to come off as less personally invested than their Sx/So counterparts. Female XXTx So/Sxs also seem to play up a visage of ingratiating, perhaps stereotypical femininity much more so than other XXTxs, to the point that they're often mistyped as XXFx types.

Sp/Sxs, as I've described before in another thread, are deceptively difficult people for me to deal with on a really deep level. Being So-last, I don't feel threatened by their lifestyle or priorities so it seems easy for me to get to know and respect them. What I quickly discover though is that while they may be engaging to a point, there's always some line of interpersonal boundary that they can never seem to cross. While I will always want to bridge that gap between the two of us, sp/sxs are more wont to keep their distance and personal security.

You mean like stacking, etype, and socionics all in one composite? As much as I'd love something like that, I imagine it'd get unmanageable both in terms of production and practical application. If you haven't seen my sociotype composites you can find them here.
