for me it is a confluence of various traits. constants are big eyes, wide mouth, large hip waist ratio, high contrast between skin tone and hair color, athletic

    hair black, red, or blonde
    if red/blonde then green/blue eyes
if brunette then curly is viable
    taller the better
    generally breasts larger than hips
    exotic looks preferred

Physically, I don't find him that attractive for some reason but when he talks, it's like he's having sex with you.

I think (hope) it was a piss take.

Now this is a story all about how, my type got changed, turned upside down. Just wait for a minute and watch chatbox right there, & I'll tell how Gem became the moderator with blue hair.

In typology central friended and praised, on the picture thread was where she spent most her days. Chilling out, selfies, relaxing all cool, And all typing some people and getting them schooled.

When a couple of girls who were up to no good, Started annoying her & her friends in the forumhood, She got in one little flame war & got pissed off & said 'I'm moving in with that exboyfriend in the forum with the socionics toffs.

So Gem pulls up to the forum for a year without being a hater, And yells to typocentral 'Yo creeps! Smell Ya later', Became a mod in her kingdom she was finally there, To sit on her throne as the mod with blue hair.

For me, things like a person's aura, energy, physical movements/space coordination, etc., often play a greater role in the level of attraction than mere (static) physical features.

Ok so physical appearance is like the least important thing for me, but I will list some things here:

Moles bother me a little bit more than they should, and so do piercings that are meant to look like beauty marks. Overall I am not that into piercings and tattoos. Do those count as physical features? Also, I like diamond shaped calves. And I like body hair, on arms and legs and stuff.

I went to a (very good) play last night. It was set in the time of Henry VIII and one of the characters played an older woman. At one point, she was in a nightgown. Her legs were smooth! I was weirded out. It was so out-of-character.

Usually focus on what person has to say and how she moves, that is attractive to me. When I hear/see it's pretty mesmerising and I just want to hear/see more. As for physical features alone, when things are in the right place, it's even better. Not into women who have hair everywhere, in excess. Seems as if they do not pay much attention to their bodies, which is actually art. I'm not big into art, but I can't not help and wonder...

I dont shave my legs. Gender roles are so 90's.
Projection is ordinary. Person A projects at person B, hoping tovalidate something about person A by the response of person B. However, person B, not wanting to be an obejct of someone elses ego and guarding against existential terror constructs a personality which protects his ego and maintain a certain sense of a robust and real self that is different and separate from person A. Sadly, this robust and real self, cut off by defenses of character from the rest of the world, is quite vulnerable and fragile given that it is imaginary and propped up through external feed back. Person B is dimly aware of this and defends against it all the more, even desperately projecting his anxieties back onto person A, with the hope of shoring up his ego with salubrious validation. All of this happens without A or B acknowledging it, of course. Because to face up to it consciously is shocking, in that this is all anybody is doing or can do and it seems absurd when you realize how pathetic it is.

It's so odd that men's sweaty armpits don't attract the same contempt as women's body hair.

Yes! Leg hair is normal; kids have leg hair. Nobody in their right mind wants to see a hairy underarm. Wear sleeves.

Meanwhile on Earth most people find obvious body odor objectionable and regard those from whom it emanates as being unsanitary and oblivious losers who lack common sense or decency.

I was referring to the sight rather than smell. I am not bothered by hair on either gender, really. I just don't quite understand why especially armpit hair is OH SO GROSS on women and perfectly fine on men.

One can dream...but I always appreciate men who acknowledge that they would hate all that shaving, plucking, smoothing, painting, blow-drying, prettfying etc. and therefore might not be quite so judgmental when a woman goes to the beach although her legs might not be perfectly shaven.

As a general rule: if you had hair there when you were a kid, you should still have hair there. If not, you should probably keep it trimmed. Gender is irrelevant. I never had hair on my knees when I was a kid, so I don't want it there now.

    1) Then why make an issue of how sweaty a man's armpit is? 2) It's called social conditioning, something you admitted being susceptible to earlier.

it's likely not a recent development, the practice has existed for thousands of years in various parts of the world. so it's not that odd. it is pretty interesting, though.

    1) I didn't make an issue - it was a description to emphasize that men's body hair can be in any state and not considered offensive while female body hair apparently is widely considered outright unacceptable.

    2) I realize that, but in this particular context I say hair is hair and I find the distinction of woman=hair bad and man-hair fine a bit silly.

Abbie you don't make sense, I'm sorry. You weren't born with a full head of hair so maybe you should trim that too. Just have some hairy ass legs with a shaved crotch and shaved knees and a bald head and see if you ever get married!
