Default Case Study: Broken Social Scene

Broken Social Scene is a Canadian indie rock band, a musical collective including as few as six and as many as nineteen members, formed in 1999 by Kevin Drew and Brendan Canning. Most of its members currently play in various other groups and solo projects, mainly based around the city of Toronto.

It's more of a loose collective of dirty canadian hipsters musicians than a full-fledged band and out of the few people I've typed within the group, there seem to be some interesting correlations so I'm looking to type all of them just because.

the two "core" members of the band: Kevin Drew (right) and Brendon Canning (middle)

This is what the band roughly looks like (sometimes):

I wasn't kidding about the dirty hipster part.

They make catchy post-rock-inspired indie pop that makes you feel glad to be alive, and sometimes foray into folk-y music that's lovely and wonderful. Everyone should download their self-titled 2005 album and listen to it. This one. It's really cool.

    THE BAND MEMBERS

Now I'll list the types of members I'm somewhat sure of.

Nice post... but I tend to think they're pretty much all gay little IEIs and LSIs

The only thing that's super obvious is introversion throughout everyone. I like Stars' music sometimes and Anthems for a Seventeen Year Old Girl is an extraordinary BSS song but other than that... eh.
