Canada axes marine pollution program
Alright now something needs to be said about this:
You simply cannot do this. You cannot roll back progress. It is a crime against nature. It's one thing to talk about it, but quite another to live by it. You have freedoms, you have people to make sure you don't abuse them. And they are unaccountable to anything but that principle itself.
You don't abuse your freedoms. Period.
We have people who are disposed to do marine biology, toxicology. We let them do it. We pay them to do it. That's it. No ifs ands or buts. It is unjust to deny them their natural, ethical role, and planet Earth on top of that.
Playtime is over. If you spoke against government regulation in the past, now is the time to show that the universe does not call for the circumscription of your freedom. Now is the time to advocate against the new wave of evil washing over the west, austerity.
