    Default Type this 10-year-old

based on what he wrote in this essay. It was supposed to be his answer to "would you want to invent something like what you read in the book?" (not sure what the book was) His answer:

"No, I would not want to invent something. First, it would probably be a fail in the end and not work. Second, it would be too expensive. Third, even if it does work, no one will want to buy it. Fourth, it would take up too much of my time when I have a lot of things to do. Plus, not much things need to be better and if there is something it will probably be very hard to make it better. It would be too hard to make even an easy invention."

    Nice. Type him.

No idea, but that's pretty funny.

Te somewhere. The order of things is not in order so I'm leaning towards weaker/secondary Te; SLI, ESE, or EIE. I sense a bit of defeatism and easily giving up when the person is not successful at something. I'm going with SLI.

Doh! I knew you were going to say that, but I'm probably wrong. Never mind.

LSE, or maybe ILI. i see Negativism & Te.

LSE because he organized all of his reasons into a neat list, and mentioned that he has "a lot of things to do" (Ej > Ip). also just the fact that he was not interested in inventing something, citing all the potential pitfalls of doing so, indicates that he prefers to focus his energies on more fail-safe endeavors that are certain of yielding productive, profitable results. avoiding potentially risky endeavors sounds less Gamma NT and more Delta ST.

The boy can not be LSE because an LSE orders things in order before saying them; this child did not do that; he went with the order that was comfortable with him.

He's VERY comfort oriented. I've typed him SEI in the past but I think SLI might not be wrong. One year, his favorite Christmas gift was an ultra-soft throw blanket! He was like eight years old! He also loooooves legos and sports. Loves to sing, loves art, keeps his feelings to himself much of the time, quiet in school but gets along well with everyone. Si something I think. Seems to have a keen mind for structures.

His sisters are IEI and EIE.... He has a particular understanding and affinity for the IEI sister. Yet I don't feel that there are "missunderstandings" with the EIE, just that they don't always get along so great (but sometimes they do). Honestly, I don't feel that he's Fe-polr at all. There is so much Fe in this family and he seems to do fine with it and even contribute. So I guess that's why I typed him SEI. He's pretty expressive when he sings. He makes faces, smiles a lot, etc.
