    Default visual IEs

sometimes on tumblr pictures remind me of ies and i decided one day to save and catalog these and make a thread about it.

it ended up being super lame because i analyzed instead of just appreciating the pictures so i stopped doing it. and i dont have much.

but this is what i ended up with in my short-lived experiment. and i want to know what you guys think and even more i want to see pictures YOU would associate with certain ies. for me they can be captured better in some ways in a visual way instead of trying to explain in words. so post some yourself and give me a peek pleeease?

yeah i was really unsure about the Ne ones. especially after i saw what @ArchonAlarion posted i was like woah ok? do you have any images that you think would better illustrate? (of course delta and alpha Ne will be different).

i'm not thrilled with the Fi ones myself, i would have found ones that were less blatantly "LOOK, BONDING" and more about static judgment but, like i said, i got sick of doing it.

Fun exercise btw, @lungs, thanks for starting it! Maybe it'll help me gain some more insight into IEs that are less clear to me.

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

    The Se one is awesome
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

Pictures are generally whatever element you interpret them to be, because you interpret them that way.

Yes, and I get a static feeling from the picture above. I don't get any Ni time-harmony-dynamic vibes from it.

In the other thread that Anglas linked to, there was an interesting picture of a tree in the Ni section. It really felt dynamic. Also the old man and baby.

It's nice to look at these pictures and meditate and feel the inner response to them

I agree but thats not a problem for me. when people talk about functions in words what they are conceptualizing isn't going to be exactly the same because language is imperfect. so pictures give me a different kind of look into peoples heads and what they're seeing. pictures imo can be like a purer form of communication.

If people couldn't make pictures "instilled" with certain functions, than they couldn't make behaviors "instilled" with certain functions.
