Yeah idk, his films seem to have a pretty strange aesthetic that's overexaggerated or hyperbolic in a way. I'm just talking about strictly ballroom and romeo + juliet, but he seems to like love stories. I could see him as fitting into a pre Lady Gaga genre of weird avant garde. If I had to pick a quadra I guess I'd go more beta, but probably at least merry > serious?
Yea he's hard, right. The emotionality of the love stories does lean toward Beta, but then the presentation values aesthetic and style above all else - which I don't associate with Beta. I think of Beta dramatism to be almost traditional, in a way, like beauty+power, not beauty! lights! showtime! weird things! - this seems more Alpha? Also isn't Lady Gaga typed as ISFp? I think that could be true of Baz Luhrmann too....
