Default Which socionics resources do you like and trust?

So, I would like to get a good idea of which socionics resources people have used, like, and trust the most, and which ones people don't like. Please feel free to elaborate. Where should I be putting my time and efforts?

I mostly go off Rick Delong's work on the fundamentals of the IM's, some of Jung's descriptions of the types, Augusta's Dual Nature of Man, wikisocion's descriptions for the manifestations of the IM's according to function and Ashton's VI gallery.

http://www.socionics.us/ Broad range of topics covered
http://www.socionics.org/ LOTS of type descriptions, veritable goldmine but requires translation
http://psychclassics.yorku.ca/Jung/types.htm Basically the bottom line, best descriptions of functions
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

I like Rick DeLong's site. I occasionally check out Wikisocion. I like the type descriptions at the WS Wiki and most of the IM element descriptions. I generally avoid VI with pictures, considering it quite unreliable (thus I do not cite galleries of any kind); I don't have a problem with VI from videos. The Socionika site had a really good piece on Socionics, but the site's pages went away. (;_; )

do you mean Socioniko.net? the pages are still there, but for some reason the English-language pages aren't properly linking on the site. when you get an error, you can add /en/ after the socioniko.net part of the URL to force it to show the page in English, e.g.:

    http://www.socioniko.net/en/1.3.rels/index.html

(side note: i just noticed that on Socioniko.net's type description pages, they replaced the Filatova portraits with photos of famous people: http://socioniko.net/en/1.1.types/index.html)

Are those Russian celebs? People from around the world? I don't recognize any of them, personally.

seems like a mishmash of different historical & contemporary famous people from around the world (actors, artists, politicians, etc.) i don't recognize a lot of them either.

not sure i'm agreeing much with some the typings, e.g. Keira Knightley as ILI, Yoko Ono as ESE, Dmitry Medvedev as ESI, etc.

OK. Yeah, that's the problem with using celebs; too much disagreement on typings.
