My current best irl friend is in her 70s. My IEE dad was telling me how his best friends when he was in his 20s were a woman and man in their 70s and 80s. I wondered: are Deltas more likely to enjoy old people?

I always preferred to be around somewhat older myself.
There was this one older guy in one of my music classes, must have been in his 50s or so. I only met him once before he disappeared, but he seemed Te-ESTj and holy crap was he a cool guy. He would recount stories of his adventures in Thailand or wherever, and he'd talk so much but I would eat up every word.
Most of my friends and sexual partners have been older than me. However most of the ones I've remained friends with for longer have been younger or the same age.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

isn't delta the "old people" quadra? lol j/k...
I have an ILE friend who is becoming a better friend lately. She's probably not quite as old as my mother, but maybe 15 years older than I am? At least, possibly 20. But my best friends have always been around my age. It makes sense, usually. Cause you're going through a similar life stage as others in your age bracket. Oh, I also have younger friends. Like 20 years younger than me. That's kinda fun too. but yeah, most of my lifelong friends are my age.

Hmm, I can't say that this is true for me, but that can be related to a lack of oppurtunity to befriend old people. I grew up with almost no contact to my grandparents (they died when I was young, or lived far away) and everyone I knew well was either my age or older, just not that old.

My best friends have always been either significantly older, or somewhat younger than me. I've never really synced with folks my age. It happens, but not very often.

My best friends have almost always been at least 2 years older than me--and I think I get along better with people who are older than me.

my best friends are mostly my age or up to 10 years older than me. until just these past couple years i could only have friends older than me. i don't have any friends older than 30 nor can i picture that working. wayy too different. i can't even imagine having a 70 yr old bff...
