No, I even have quite and issue with saying 'I like you' in real life but when I do and it is met with some hate shit, one is dead to me, literally dead.
Okay, that's not what I meant. First of all, the OP specified that the situation in question was a platonic one. I have gushy friends who leave me gushy wall posts, I don't know how to respond in kind and I'd feel weird doing it, so I don't. They understand that because they're my friends, and if they didn't they probably wouldn't be. It's just when gushing and liking and responding become expected social niceties for EVERYONE that I get annoyed.
Romantically speaking, I strongly prefer men who don't wear their hearts on their sleeve, so posts of the kind you provided as an example are not usually an issue.If it did come up and I wasn't into them, I'd let them down but I certainly would try not to be cruel about it. It takes courage to tell someone how you feel especially if you don't know whether or not your feelings are reciprocated, and I respect that.

I feel like their primary motive is to show off to others (how they have a lot of friends and how much fun they're having or something like that), instead of actually directing their words at me and meaning what they say.If somebody missed me I'd much rather have them send me a text message or a private message or call me than post something publicly on my wall that I'm going to see probably several hours or even days later.. I don't get posts like that too much, but if it happens I usually "like" it or say something back, because I don't want to embarrass them or make them feel bad, but may remove the post after some time.

One time this girl passed me these papers saying "your love letter" (cuz we had to write on a letter) and I Just took it, and stared. Then she said it again and I didn't respond and I probably seemed mad, but sometimes I just forget to respond. But am not trying come off as I hate them or anything it just accidental.

i imagine it depends on how a person can control their emotional state and waht they are conscious of, cuz you do realize you may get harassed by classmates or colleagues or whoever sees it, cuz they are that kind of people. depending on how u are able to control ur energy in ur body and emotions and mindsets etc u can get triggered and fail or u can respond to them/ignore them ttoxcic ppl trying to control and influence ur emotional state. and even if soemoen thinks they are trying to be friendly its often in a form of harassment. they have these set presumptions about what anything means, and they get mad at u for not reacting the way they want u that is "socially appropriate" but this is not them trying to Fe, and Fi valuers vary in what they process and interact.
