Kevin Trudeau

His name is Kevin Trudeau. He's been running infomercials for over 15 years, and is the reason why now every infomercial must have one of those "The following is a paid advertisment" warnings first. He started several different programs, such as his Memory program, and more recently he claims to know a bunch of "natural cures" that heal your body without needing drugs or surgery. Oh, and he was convicted of some credit card fraud in 1991.

Personally, I think he blends some truth in with a lot of good fiction and story telling. There may be some good "points" you can pick out, but overall, I wouldn't believe everything he says. For example, he claimed that although he looks like he's in his early forties, he's actually seventy years old, and he only looks that good because he knows all of these health secrets. But his actual age is really around 43! When he was convicted, back in 1991, he was 28 years old, making him ~43 now. What a liar! He also claims that he's been to Area 51, and has seen alien technology and dead alien bodies, and that in the future he's going to write a book about that stuff. Believe what you will about him.

Interesting, I was thinking ENTJ myself. Sure, he can come off as charismatic and friendly, BUT the underlying immorality and apparent drive and love of money (what the hell do I mean by "apparent"? He commited credit card fraud... oops...) makes me think he's a definate thinker.

Alpha and beta Fe types: ESFj, ISFp (I doubt this one), ENFj and INFp.
EDIT: I take it back, I think he is most likely ENFj.

ENTj's are supposed to have strong morals, Fi>Fe.

ENTjs typically are not con men. Not that they can't be, but to bullshit and lie and exploit other people's gullibility does not come naturally to an ENTj.

ENTjs can get too concerned with power over others and, like any type, may do horrible things. An ENTj values Fi, but that doesn't mean he has strong Fi in the absense of his dual. And there are evil Fi types too!

So while I think this guy is ENFj, I do not believe that he couldn't be ENTj simply because Gamma values Fi.

I can't imagine the perfect partner of ISFjs being a typical conman. :wink:

ENFj can also be money-hungry, because of Se-hidden agenda. That's why I decided ENFj over INFp.

Umm... it's always possible that he truely believes this stuff himself, and he only adds what some would consider "fiction" to possibally embellish his books and so forth. I don't know, since I'm not him.

I'm quite certain he believes in the stuff himself. An ENTj is just as likely to sell stuff like that and promote his books and whatnot, but I think an ENFj would be more likely to do the infomercial himself where an ENTj would hire professionals to market his products.

My initial impression was ENFj, too.

Lol my dad ended up buying his mega memory course from TV. I actually must admit this course wasn't too bad. He was talking the whole time and it seemed quite professional. The memory techniques do actually work. I only make use of them rarely and never studied them well enough tho

In his course he did seem to believe what he was teaching i dont think he was trying to rip people off with that, however i have no idea about the other things he has done

I don't actually believe that he's a "piece of shit", nor do I think that being one makes you a certain type, but he's still a person which means he does have a type.

And yeah, like I said, I think some stuff he says has basis to it, but he definately embellishes (don't know why).

Im sure he could be typed with the proper information. The problem is that his behaviors may be from a multitude of others thangs and not type. And he is a piece of shit...at least until he changes =p

I still have to admit that this guy has an introverted INFp look. Even if it is fake, he does have it.
