I agree it is nice, because by copying from a number of popular dictionaries it illustrates my point that in the contemporary English language, "guy" in the singular refers exclusively to males, while "guys" in the plural can refer to groups comprising individuals of either sex, including all male and all female groups.

Now, my posting of "one" or "guy" is actually after you posted that I am "second", making your argument (trying to say that your posting of "gender" is right) useless.

Is the term or concept "LII" necessarily engendered as a male or female? Given a review of available literature on LIIs, and of forum participants who are more-or-less uncontroversial exemplars of LII, the answer is a clear no: "LII" in itself is gender-neutral, and it is possible for an LII to belong to either sexual category. Furthermore, there are also plausible cases where an LII might — physically, cognitively, or as a mixture of the two — fall somewhere outside the male-female dichotomy, or land on some intermediary point on a male-female continuum rather than upon either antipode of a strict male-female dichotomy. Though observed and conjectured patterns of differences in male and female LIIs might be described, gender itself does not inhere to the definition of LII.

On the other hand, since "guy" in the singular denotes a male, and it was you who introduced "guy" in reference to the aforementioned LII, and because you are apparently using standard contemporary English, it reasonably follows that you believe this LII is a male. If you'd had reason to have asked, "Who are the other guys?" then you'd have afforded yourself far more wiggle room than you've got now, which is none.

Does "one" also denote male like "guy" does? I think you forgot to copy-paste about "one", in that case.

You used "one" in reference to an LII you previously assumed to be a "guy". One in itself in English is gender neutral, but since you defined a particular LII as a male by labeling it a singular "guy", then the "one" you employed to refer to the LII in question then inherits the previously assumed gender quality of maleness.
