I do not think that this study is all that good. They are looking at something very ephemeral (politics.) Brain functions should be tested like renin traits. Politics is not good for brain anything. However, if liberals anterior cingulate cortex is flawed, (which an overactive one might indicate an unbalanced brain state there) their capacity at error correction could be faulty.
