    Default New Video

Just a new video I made since I've been feeling better.
    Here you go, WA.

I apologize for the horrible whirring sound in the background. Should have turned my fan off.

I wasn't sure what thread to put this in, but...heh. If you have type suggestions I'm all ears.
And I would hide my face in you and you would hide your face in me, and nobody would ever see us any more.

I'd still say it's EII>IEE. Of course, you could say that you're Fi-subtype and some Fi-IEEs might come across like you, but all in all, you do seem more EII to me. It's the way you speak and your expressions which suggests much more introversion, imho. It's basically the same as in my video thread a while ago when someone said LII would fit much better than ILE because of basically the same reasons.

Yeah i mean the distinction between IEE and EII can be subtle.. and probably doesnt ultimately matter... I'm gonna put in a vote for Fi-IEE. u remind me a lot of Dakota Fanning.

You seem very much Ne base. I think IEE works well. I don't see EII at all.

I wouldn't agree with Fi subtype though. I think you're irrational subtype.

What in my expression suggests introversion, if I may ask? I guess the problem, to me at least, is I don't relate to the IJ temperament.

The "vibe" Well, it's the hesitation and the calmness... I imagine most ENFps to be more "active". (Even though this is probably just a stereotype.)

Yeah, it's the same in my case. I always thought Ip fits better for me. What do you think about Ep then? Is it the best match for your of all four temparaments?

Ep and Ip match the best, but I don't think I'm as low-energy as Ip suggests. But I don't know about Ep as I am probably an introvert. I still sometimes don't want to discard IEI for this reason, but I think I value Ne>Ni. So confusing.

I think IEE > EII. IEEs are rarely "extroverted" in the common sense of the word, and most of them appear balanced in this regard, IMO. Delta NFs could comment.

Many IEE celebs have the same calm, easygoing demeanor. Some examples.

Thanks a bunch for the input. Also, do I seem Fe-valuing at all? I guess I feel I sometimes seem Fe-ish...but...I dunno. I don't know. Fi and Fe are still confusing to me, and I guess I'm still not 100% sure I don't belong in another quadra.

You move and bounce around a lot more than I'd expect any EII to; when I take your vid and contrast it with polikujm on Stickam, or any number of EIIs I've seen on that one INFJ chat, the difference is massive... EP > IJ and definitely Delta NF, and, by consequence, IEE

As for subtypes? Hell if I know right now...

As I said, I'd personally lean towards Fi-sub for her if she's convinced of IEE. All in all, this reminds me of forum member Galen who changed types from EII to IEE during the process of learning more about socionics iirc.

actually i self-typed IEI initially... Mostly because i was "converting" from MBTI (where i'm consistently INFJ) and because i too considered myself nothing but an introvert (of course that was because i was thinking MBTI also).

    polikujm is not EII.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

Fi types derive their morals from a personal set of values/principles where individualism is paramount. Fe types place the private needs of the individual subservient to the needs of the community and promote interpersonal equality (for a lack of a better term).

Fi types are capable of Fe, and vice versa.

Wow, thanks so much Parkster. I don't think anyone has ever explained the difference between Fi and Fe so clearly to me. I really get it all of a sudden. Haha. Any confusion just went away.

In that case I definitely agree with Fi>Fe. I guess I was confusing trying to maintain a comfortable emotional atmosphere by trying to eliminate awkwardness as Fe. I guess this is more Fi...?

I definitely don't agree with minimizing negative emotions ever. If it's how you feel, that's what should be expressed.

    Thanks again..so much Parkster.

Well, I'm not sure if everyone agrees, but if you're thinking that you are a Delta NF, but aren't really sure which one, subtypes could help to find an explaination. EIIs have Fi as their dominant funtion, that means an IEE (= NeFi) who is the Fi-sub is more similar to EII than a balanced one or Ne-sub. Think of it as if you could type yourself EII, but some aspects don't fit at all, like the IJ-temperament for example and that's why you're looking for alternatives. Mirror types are pretty similar anyway, and a subtype either focuses on your 1st function or the one of your mirror. That is also the reason why I said you're likely Fi-sub if you are IEE, because I had the EII impression at first. Ne-base types (IEE and ILE) can appear rather introverted at times, but those with creative subtypes (Fi and Ti) even more so.

Apart from the EII/IEE confusion, I'd say the easiest way to find out your type are 1) the quadra descriptions to determine your general values (these are good) and 2) looking into the Reinin dichotomies. You've to take the descriptions of the dichtotomies with a grain of salt, but if you add them up you have a good chance to find your correct type. (use the jungian functions: intro-/extroversion, sensing/intuitive ect. too, but don't give them more weight than the others)

I suppose I thought Ne-subtype would seem more introverted because of emphasis on a perceiving function.

According to the quadra descriptions, which I just looked at again, I still think delta NF fits the best. Especially group behavior. I'm happiest when working on projects.
I don't have a lot of time to go through the dichotomies again right now, but I agree with:
    -Tactical>Strategic
    -Static>Dynamic
    -Result>Process I think
    -Obstinate>Yielding I think
    -Judicious>Decisive
    -Declaring>Asking
-Really iffy on Constructivist/Emotivist. Kinda leaning Constructivist...kinda.

-And I'm definitely infantile in relationships.
Soooo...I dunno. IEE/EII is still up in the air I think.
And I would hide my face in you and you would hide your face in me, and nobody would ever see us any more.

If you're going by inert/contact subtypes, then Fi-INFjs have a stronger focus on inert functions, i.e. and Ne-INFjs have a stronger focus on contact functions, i.e. .

In the accepting/producing subtypes, Fi-INFjs have a stronger focus on accepting fxns i.e. and Ne-INFjs .

From personal observation, I would tend to agree that the inert/contact subtype model is closer to reality.

You're definitely an EP temperament from what you described yourself in the chatbox; you said you got up to make the video because you couldn't sleep and that you felt in general you had mixed energy levels as described in this article.

Perhaps not a stereotype so much as a tendency. I think it is generally true, however, that IEE's have a different sense of extroversion than most types. That is, at least, something I have noticed in the people here who self-type IEE.

I buy IEE for fenryrr. I thought it was quite peculiar (and comical) how she specified a lizard only to change that description about four times before going back to something she had already figured out (lizard -> color-changing lizard -> chameleon -> lizard chameleon?). Also, how she showed the time on the clock a second time because she apparently forgot that she did it the first time. I'm not sure whether that was just because it was past 4.00, but I did notice that even considering that she seemed to be fairly energetic. Irrational and Ne-valuing rings out above all else. Rant about ex-boyfriend (I think it was) and interaction in IRC indicates Fi. So IEE.

    Thanks for the input nil.

I tend to think in that way...exemplified by the lizard>color-changing lizard>chameleon>lizard chameleon thing. I tend to have a thought, then have other thoughts and compare to the first one..or something. It's hard to explain. But I think that's a good example of my thought process.
And I had completely forgot I said it was 4:00 already. I remembered thinking about it but wasn't sure if I actually did. >.>

I guess I am kinda...hesitant in some ways, as Pa3s said though.
    But I do think irrational>rational. Soooo...hehe.
